A Mini Oscilloscope Clock with a 3SP1. A crt with a unique shape. Homemade, not a commercial product. Measures about 5.5" W x 6" H x10" D. The shroud is not attached. But sits loose on top of the plexiglass base. The board has pots to adjust vertical& horizontal height/ width, focus, astigmatism, brightness, and vertical and horizontal centering. Automatically sets for 50/60HZ. The display alternates every ten seconds between digital and analog style. Display also moves slightly every six seconds to help prevent"burn in" of the crt. The microcontroller and all chips are in sockets for easy replacement. And all components are replaceable/repairable with some soldering skills and basic component identification. Line converts to a dot and can be adjusted horizontally on the scale. Focus and intensity work.I don't know what the other knobs do.obviously not my area of expertise. Tektronix TDS744A 500MHz 2GS/s Oscilloscope, Partially Working
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION. This is a partially working oscilloscope. Channel 2 has some digital noise on it. And the error log complains about a possibly bad memory chip. The other three channels work perfectly, but at 2GS/s(when all converters are interleaved) there is some digital noise as well. Insta-Vu mode also doesn't produce a trace. Signal Path Compensation routine always passes. The screen and the rest of the scope are in excellent shape. Guaranteed to be in the condition described. But no returns if the unit is opened. It includes all of the items that originally came with it plus two PRB-01 Analog Probes(100 MHz) and an LP103W Logic Pod. This unit connects to your PC via USB to give you a 2 channel 100 MHz analog scope plus 10 channels of digital scope. The part I liked and used it for was the storage capability for digital logic circuits. This thing was great when I was working on digital electronics and microprocessors but I haven’t messed with those things for years. Hitachi V-1065 2 channel 100MHz oscilloscope with probes *Immaculate*
This is a Hitachi model V-1065 2 channel 100MHz analog oscilloscope with probes. I am the original owner. I purchased this scope new for my personal lab in 1990 for $1695(approximately $3000 in today's dollars) As such. I considered it to be a valuable asset and I cared for it accordingly. The entire scope is very clean and has very few blemishes. It does not have a fan, so dust has not been actively sucked-through it, and it comes from a smoke-free home. Everything functions as new. The switches and knobs are very crisp and smooth. And none are flakey. Scratchy, intermittent, or otherwise erratic. The screen is exceptionally sharp and clear with no burn-in. There is no discernable yellowing of the plastics and there are no asset tags and no sticker residue anywhere on the scope. This is still a great scope for"poking around" ... moreand it has seen me through many projects. Experiments, and repair jobs over the years. It is very responsive and easy to use. It is ready to go within 15 seconds of power-on. I recently upgraded to a high-end digital scope and I would keep this one if I had more bench space.
