Here is a gorgeous vinyl bridal doll from the 50's. She has her original dress. Veil with flowers, pearl earrings and hand corsage. On her other hand she wears a pearl bracelet. She has working sleep eyes with thick hair eyelashes. Her eyes are a light blue/gray color and her brown hair is rooted. Things to note: she does not have her shoes, there's a spot on her dress in the back( I have not tried to clean this) and her arms don't move-which they aren't supposed to-just wanted to mention it, her marking is a capital"A" above her rear end(see pic) and on the bottom of her foot is another marking(see picture) You can tell she's a quality piece with lovely detail and in decent condition for her age. She is about 23" tall and is wearing a replaced doll dress with bloomers(the dress is a little brighter white then the bloomers) She has huge. Her hair is strawberry blonde and is a bit of a mess-could use some styling; I did not find any missing hair plugs. Something to use on smoke items is put a little dry dishwasher soap in some water then soak your items if possible it will take away the smell and take away the brownish tint they have. You can also use it if you have some delicate curtains that you cannot or don't want to wash in the washer, we had a wood stove for years and every Spring my curtains got put in the tub with dry dishwasher soap. If you have colored curtains you may want to spot test a spot first to make sure it will not make the color run or discolor them. I then hung them over the Shower Curtain Rod for a little bit

1951 Ideal Historic Ships Model #320: Pirate Brig Partly Assembled+Box+Inst+More
Included here is a vintage 1951 wooden Pirate Brig ship model from Ideal Aeroplane Supply Co.s Historic Ship Models Series. Model#320. Made in New York. This collectible model is boxed with instructions and is partially assembled but includes many parts as desribed below. Because of the complexity of the model and my lack of expertise, I am making no claims to completeness and this is strictly sold as-is, as shown in my many photos. Anything that might be missing can be fasioned based on the detailed plans. The items are as follows: Box: Original top and bottom of box are present. Lid has one split corner. Shows normal to moderate wear and discoloration from use& storage. But for the age I am impressed. Original owner's name is written almost unnoticeably on top. Instructions: These plans appear to be complete and fold out to a very ... morelarge layout. The paper is ripped at some folded areas but is intact. There is a separate sheet detailing the stern view design and lots of other technical information. Partially Assembled Ship: The wooden ship with metal accessories is assembled to a large degree. Only some small parts are painted. It was cut and assembled by an adult in a careful manner. The hull measures 12" long and 4" wide. But from tip to stern it is 17" and 17" high. Most parts are firmly attached except a small railing piece. Additional Parts: These include an envelope full of wood strips. Molding& trim, and cross bars for the masts. There is a small plastic box full of many many small metal parts such as spindles and rope anchoring things. There is another box that includes a metal dinghy, 2 anchors(one cracked) 4 ladders/steps, a ship wheel, 2 cross bars, 8 cannons, 1 spool of light off-white thread, 1 of light brown thread, 1 spool of dark brown thread, and some unfinished or partially trimmed areas of balsa wood. You are bidding on something extremely rare here. This is the Cave House packaging that came with only a few rare Ideal Baby Bamm Bamm and Baby Pebbles dolls in the 1960s. Most of the Ideal Pebbles and Bamm Bamm dolls came packaged in boxes. These Cave Houses are made of thick styrofoam. And this one even still has the original cardboard insert of Dino and the lamp. I've seen a couple of the Baby Bamm Bamm and Baby Pebbles show up for sale mint in their sealed Cave House, but that's it. But, for those of you who may have had one of these when you were a child of the 60s, if you still have your origianl Pebbles or Bamm Bamm doll, think how awesome it would look displayed in this original Cave House with Dino insert. They measure 2 7/8" in diameter on top and are 1 1/2" tall. There are four saucers two gray and two yellow/gold all in good condition. They measure 4 1/2" in diameter. While these pieces are in good condition they are used and do show some minor scratches/scuffs and some staining. Over all good condition and a nice addition to your collection.
