Here is a great old Eb Tuba made by S R Leland& Son in Worcester. Mass. probably in the 1880s. The inscription on the bell says New Ideal model and the serial number on the middle valve is#2810. This is brass with just some traces of silver plating, mainly on the inside of the bell. Lots of small dents and a few cracks in the bell(see photos) The valves all work fine and have new corks. The tuning slide and 2nd valve slide work but the other two are stuck. Beautiful cast brass protector plate on the bottom and all the joints. No mouthpiece. 29" tall and 12-5/8" bell. Don't miss this very rare tuba from a high quality maker. Leland& Son operated from 1839 until 1915 in Worcester. Shipping in 48 states only.

My guess is it's age is mid century(60.S maybe) It is in good working order. But. I believe some attachments are missing. You will receive what is pictured only. There must have been a bag attachment that is now lost. A catch bag from another blower could be attached to the exhaust for use as a vacuum. This blower could not have been used much because it is such good condition. With the black hard rubber/plastic cone attached it is around 19" long. It has some paint loss but still presents well. WW2 British Liner About Size 7, No Date or Maker, Good Condition, Ideal.
This is a WW2. British Army Helmet Liner in reasonable condition. I have treated it with Pecard's leather restorer after washing it. And it is again supple and will do nicely to finish off a helmet project. The drawstring bootlace is present. I have included a new top bolt to secure it to a helmet. There is a lot of Pecard's remaining on the liner to keep it in good condition, so not a good idea to put it on your head unless you wipe it off thoroughly! I have used two of these liners to finish off some South African WW2 helmets and they look really excellent. Being undated. They may be the early liners used on Mk1* helmets but I am not sure. There is an oval rubber rubber cushion with this one. Condition is fair for a liner that has seen wear.

Built Lighted USS United States 1/400 Model Assembled Ok. Not sure how to reference this built model. the base is from ITC(Ideal Toy Company) United States model of the 1954- their first plastic model kit. When Glencoe pickup up the model for reproduction, the base mold was either lost or could not be restored so Glencoe substituted a cheap wooden base and 2 wooden mounts- bottom line! Now this model ship is the Glencoe kit which I built when I was a bit younger, my eyes and hands to make clean paint lines and other fine details. So what you got is the best of both worlds- a rare stand that has the light kit(yes it lights up) and the Glencoe ship. I've added some details to the life boats and added the decal railings on the lower deck. Good news is, you can complete it with your own rigging string(suggest gray) and the leftover provided ... moredecals(with Glencoe Instructions) Also suggest a fresh roll of 1/8" or smaller size detail white tape for the waterline mark on hull. Vintage Dickinson Croxley 14k Gold Nib Fountain Pen + Waterman's Ideal
Here are two vintage and early fountain pens that I am selling in unknown working condition. As one, I do not have the ink to check them, and two, I do not want to force the siphon lever on the Dickinson Coxley, as I am told vintage pens need to be brought back to life carefully. In any case, you will get the Croxley Dickinson, with it's 14K gold nib, and a Waterman's Ideal, with a last patent date mark of Aug. 4, 1903 on it. Both have wear consistent with age and use, but not breaks or cracks.

Things much more common than this have been labeled rare. So I'll spare you that. Up for auction is an Ideal number 8 tool for the very uncommon 32 Long Rifle cartridge. There is some relatively light nickel loss. Look closely at the pictures to see what you are bidding on. The cavity( Ideal bullet 299155) is perfect. I cast some bullets with this unit and they are perfect. The base plug is free and works well. It seems reverseable so that a flat based bullte can be made on the same mold. Going by eye, the base plug looks like it is off 4-5 thousandths of being truly in line with the bottom of the lowermost band. plug pictured in the inverted mode) There are two holes in the plug to switch from hollow base to flat base. I did not cast any flat bottomed bullets.
