Antique Composition & Cloth Body Doll Parts Ideal Head Sleep Eyes Cryer
Up for bid are two antique dolls for parts. The one with the cloth body only is stuffed with straw. It measures 12 3/4" L. The hands are composition with no cracks or chips. The doll with the Ideal head has sleep eyes and a cryer which only works part of the time. We believe the head is composition but cannot be 100% sure. There are no chips or cracks but there is some discoloration on top& back of head as seen in our photos.The body is cloth. It measures 9" L. Shipping: We ship within 48 hours of receiving payment. Duo of antique 19" 21" baby dolls! Limbs are all composition. The larger doll is marked X in a circle at back of neck(may be Madame Alexander) Seems to have a composition head? and has molded hair. Doll has open/close glassine eyes with no eyelashes, two upper teeth inside open mouth and head/face has wear/cracks in head seam. There is also loss of covering at head seam. Arms are crazed with some damage to fingers. Body has been hand stitched in spots. Legs have crazing but are quite good. Other doll is marked Ideal Dolls Patent pending at back of neck. Head is plastic, open/close eyes are crystalized and doll has molded brown hair. Left eyelash is gone, right lash is good. Head needs a little cleaning. Composition arms/hands have rubs but are good. This is an Ideal Baby Crissy doll. She is 24" tall. Vinyl, and fully jointed. She has a very nice outfit on with a sweater boogie set. Her pull string on the back works to make her hair go shorter. But I don't like to mess with these- it works though. She is in good condition. Her right arm is not as strong as it should be. It does not stay in an up right position very well. Looks to me like her bangs were trimmed but they still look good- the long hair appears to be untouched. Other than what I mentioned. She is very clean and nice- her eyes are black- pupiless- with full lashes. Hope I covered everything. She's such a cute baby. Thanks for looking!

Very Rare "Valentine's" Dress Outfit for Ideal Patti Playpal Doll
This is a very difficult outfit to find for two reasons. One. Because you almost never see it and two, when you do see it, the pinafore is usually shredded. Not the case with this beautiful example! This dress is in fantastic condition. The red dress has nice colour and no damage that I can see. The attached net slip is still stiff. the elastic in the sleeves has let go but I am happy to replace the elastic for the winning buyer if you would like but I will leave that decision up to you. There is some age related yellowing to the skirt of the pinafore and I see one almost imperceptible spot in the bodice that is starting to become a hole but isn't quite there yet. I can't see it without magnification as it's so tiny. You probably would never notice it but I need to mention everything I see. There is also a small hole in one sash ... moretie in the center. Toward the end. Other than those small imperfections there is nothing else to report! Description: Here's a vintage Patti Playpal doll on a vintage companion body. She is being sold as found and her history is unknown. But her body is not marked IDEAL. Apparently someone restrung the doll and used her head with a body similiar to the original. Condition: She is in overall good condition and is free of breaks or cracks. Her hair has been trimmed. She's displaying soiling overall. We wiped off her face for the photos. But didn't attempt to clean her hair or body. She has some scratches on the top of her right foot and at the back of her legs and there's a small dent at the back of her left foot. Her blue eyes are clear with all lashes intact. Her left eye needs help opening ... moreand closing. The other eye works fine. Her hair could use a shampoo. Her arms are strung which makes her easy to dress and the stringing is tight. Legs are flanged. Her strung head tilts to one side. This could be adjusted. But am leaving that to customer. There are a few dots of age discoloraton on her right hand. This is a 1950's era Ideal 15" N revlon doll. she is marked on her back and Ideal doll on her neck. she has very thick honey blonde rooted hair and plugs are Full. Nice face color- blue eyes that open and close holes for the earrings{no green} nice red lips. hips that swivel around- head arms and legs are tight and move freely- red painted fingernails and toenails- high heel feet. I replaced the bride dress and took a photo of the bride dress that she had on. the real dress is damaged in a lot of ways and very fragile to wear. It might be a good pattern to make her a new one or just frame it. there is also a pair of red/green heel shoes that was on her. she is in good shape but needs a bath. This is a 30 inch Miss Ideal marked SP-30-S. I was told she was a sampler doll. What the salesman took out to try to sell her. The dress and hat are original. A little dirty but they are very old. She has no panties. The shoes and socks I bought for her. She has a small place on her blush area where it has rubbed of a bit. She still stands on her own. Her curls are just beautiful. She has striking factory painted bottom lashes and factory painted on one stroke brows and open mouth with factory pale orange lips and long straight platinum blond original nylon wig not as thick as it originally was but easily combed and able to be styled or looks nice as is. No defects or paint smudging. Eyes work correctly. This Toni doll has is a all hard plastic strung doll which makes the arms. Legs and neck very poseable. The plastic is very clean and still a new like natural even skin tone with no blemishes to note. This Toni is stamped on her neck and on her back"Ideal Doll P-93" No cracks or splits or repairs needed. Her hair is blonde on one side and is parted in the center; and dark brunette on the other and this side has full bangs. The change in hair can be achieved by rotating her scalp. The face is beautifully painted with large blue eyes with very long attached lashes. Pale lipstick and bronzed cheeks. She wears only her original green clogs with Cuban heels. Here are two 1950's Ideal Toy plastic 8" baby dolls that their eyes open and shut. The dolls are in super clean shape with no marks or scuffs on them at all. They are marked"Ideal PAT.PEND.
