1955 Vintage Promo Model Pontiac Star Chief four door Sedan by Ideal Models
The item u p for auction is a vintage dealership promo model of a 1955 Pontiac four door sedan Super Chief. Ideal Models Detroit. 12, Mich. embossed on the under-frame. V8" emossed in cursive next to outline of gas tank door. The hub-caps are embossed"Pontiac. The underside of the front bumped has fading black letters which reads"Sequoia Green. It measures 8 inches long X 3 inches wide X 2 1/2 inches tall. All of the parts are present. The model is in good condition aside from minor rubbing/ wear to extremities. A very small white nicked area on the rear hood and light sratches to the green plastic windows. The rear axle is to long so the tires rub against the inner sides and do not spin freely. Up for bid is an IDEAL toy kitchen mixer. Circa 1950. It comes in the original box. Make no mistake, this little mixer has seen some major play time, and is for display/collection only. Wind-up does not function, and there's a break on the base. Nevertheless, the beater is in good shape and it tilts easily. Not the original bowl, but a perfect fit. This little guy needs a home. The eyedropper filling system was used by Waterman up to 1928 and the gold fill Art Nouveau overlay Filigree pattern(earlier than the Basketweave pattern) was produced in both a gold and sterling silver finish. The gold fill is overlaid on hard rubber with the far end of the barrel clear of overlay for cap placement when using the pen. Auxiliary Commemorative, Tamoto. 4 appear to be undamaged but one has a CHIPPED RIM. The ideal virtues of a Japanese soldier were first promulgated in the early Meiji period. When the Japanese army first came into existence. I am not sure. But these virtues could be from the original Imperial Guard-the troops assigned to guard the Emperor and his various entourages. You are viewing a rare find Poll Parrot Shoes Advertising Doll. She is made by IDEAL co and is marked that on the back ov her neck. She is about 20" tall and opens and closes her eyes when she is lying down. She has red hair. Her head. Neck, arms and hands are made of a composite material. Because of thet age of the doll there is cracking on her face and hands(please see photos) Her body is some type of stuffed material and she is sewn hinged at the top of her legs. There does appear to be some water staining beneath the stockings she is wearing. Her clothing consists of a dress marked Poll-Parrot SHOES and does appear to have been light pink(looks more off white from fading) A matching bonnet, stockings, white socks with blue stripes and light blue shoes. Beautiful 16" Toni Doll by Ideal Toy company. ca 1940- 1950 Marked on head and on back Ideal Doll P-91. Complete full set of eyelashes. Eyes are clean, clear and open and close nicely. Blue eyes and Dark hair with Original barrettes in hair. Curls at the end of her hair have fallen, but hair is in original style, All fingers and toes. No odors. No nose rubs, no hair cuts. Outfit is in excellent condition. Some dresses were tagged, some were not. This one was not tagged but I have seen it in the book of Ideal Dolls by Judith Izen. Complete with attached slip, wearing Cinderella No 1 black shoes, also in very good condition. She can stand alone but can not hold up her arms. Displays wonderfully. IDEAL'S Vintage Betsy Wetsy 21" - Wonderful Condition - Must See - No Reserve!!
For your consideration I have an adorable vintage Betsy Westy Doll that any baby boomer remembers! I think we all had one. This baby measures a large 21" and still squeaks when squeezed. She can drink and wet and is looking for a new home. Betsy is marked on her neck IDEAL DOLL VW-4 and on her back IDEAL DOLL 20. She is jointed at her arms. Legs and neck and can hold a pose. For a doll that dates back to the 1950's-1960's she is in very good vintage condition. She does have a few spots here and there that I will leave for her new mommy. Betsy has the most beautiful head of hair. It is saran rooted hair that is thick and curly and a pretty shade of deep blonde. Her sleep eyes are a lovely shade of blue with thick real lashes on top. She has painted eyebrows and painted lower lashes. Her lips are the typical shade of coral used ... moreback in the day. Betsy will arrive home wearing a diaper(of course! With a cloth diaper over it and a little smock top. The back is closed using safety pins but snaps can easily be sewn on. Her booties are vintage and tied with pink ribbon. Here is Saucy Walker Toddler made by the Ideal Doll Company in 1952. She is all hard plastic and is 16" tall. Her head and body are marked Ideal Doll. W16. The doll has her original short auburn wig. Feathered eyebrows and green sleep eyes with upper eyelashes of hair. She has an open mouth with two upper teeth and a hard plastic tongue. The doll is jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips, and is a pin jointed walker with an unpainted pin. She has a working squeaker in her stomach. She is wearing undies. A vintage dress with applied lambs on the front and a lovely old bonnet with lots of lace trim. She also has vintage shoes and socks. The limbs are wired for posing. Her torso is plastic. Pepper has dark blonde or light brownish hair and blue eyes. She has adorable freckles. Her face paint is vivid completely in tact.
