I must admit to not knowing much about this item, except that I understand it is plugged into the valveholder on the chassis that you are working on in place of the valve, then the valve is plugged into the AvoCoupler and various voltages can be read. This is what I have been informed, but it might not be correct. The label reads'The 9-Pin AvoCoupler' for use in conjunction with the'Avodapter' and gives the price as 12/6 old money. It is manufactured by The Automatic Coil Winder& Electrical Equipment Co. Ltd. most famous for their Avo Meter. This label is around the box over the green printed paper covering, which has printed on the top details of the Guarantee for the"Slektun" ... moreRadio Product enclosed? Possibly, they were the retailers? It is in excellent original condition and looks to have had very little use. The only point to mention is that the ends of the coupling lead have suffered a bit with age- the rubber sheath has hardened and cracked. The box and single sided printed sheet are good, but showing some signs of wear. The underside of the box has been written on in pencil.
