I know little of this unit. It's a 220 volt boiler with egg cups that are timed with a clockwork motor. They run for about 20 seconds and actuate. The egg cup part is made by H W Parker& Sons. We had it hooked up to heat a 1000 sq ft apartment ended up doing a pretty big add on so we took this one out and put in a bigger gas boiler. This is a 520 Kw. 480 volt electric boiler/water heater and comes with an 800 amp fused disconnect panel.The boiler was placed in service in September 2007 and was removed from service in April 2013. The boiler was used as a supplemental source for steam in a dry cleaning plant to take advantage of lower electrical energy costs when natural gas prices peaked making gas fired boilers more costly to operate. The boiler has not had any operational issues and the only maintenance involved replacing fuses which fail under normal use. This is a very dependable machine and can be used effectively as a water heater as well. The boiler can achieve operational steam pressure of 150PSI in less than 20 minutes from a cold start. Unique Train Locomotive Electric Lamp Cast Aluminum Boiler Old Glass Insulator
Here is a really unique Train Lamp. Made of cast aluminum and marked on underside Miley’s Inc. Marion.43302) Ohio 1981. This measures about 12” long and 7” tall and weighs about 4lbs. Boiler is an old glass Insulator marked Hemingray-17 USA, I can’t read the rest on underside. This is in near perfect condition. The light is a flickering bulb and looks like fire in the boiler when turned on. Bulb and cord are about 7’ long with switch about 1’ from bulb. Bulb snaps in the back and cord hangs between engine and tender. Nice thing is you can face it either direction. What a great addition this will make especially for the train enthusiast. Selling a used but excellent condition and fully functional Thermo-Dynamics electric hydronic boiler. This 15kw unit was manufactured in 2008 and installed fall of 2009 in my parents home. This unit easily heated their 1900 sq. ft. house through slant fin baseboard registers. UGI recently ran natural gas through the neighbor hood and offered free installation and hook up of all gas appliances as a promotion. This electric boiler was remove in October of 2013. Unit is like new as detailed in the pictures. will come with fittings and pipes as pictured. Pipes may be removed to fit in box or crate for shipping. Would prefer if unit was picked up in PA.
