The larger unit may have come from and ART-13 transmitter( The center coil rotates, but does not connect to the other windings.Splined coupling for adjusting knob and/or tuning mechanism. Base measures 4 1/2" x 3" with tapped holes for mounting. Is 5" tall. The ceramic form has part of the winding loosened. Hard to show in a photo, but inside the form is a single loop that can be rotated by a screw accessible at the end.The mechanism may easily be removed if you only want the coil.
