ORIGINAL WWII 1943 DATED SERVO MOTOR SYNCHRONOUS TRANSMITTER AIRPLANE ?
Up for bid is an ORIGINAL WWII 1943 dated United States Army ordnance marked servo motor synchronous transmitter. I am not an expert on servo motors. But I think this one was possibly for an aircraft. The motor is housed in the original ordnance tin container. Motor is a 115 volt 60 cycle unit and is in excellent apparently unused condition. I purchased it with some WWII Air Corps items and think it may possibly be for a B-17. If anyone can identify what this motor is for I would greatly appreciate it. Onkyo Servo Locked FM Stereo/ AM Tuner T-15 I tested this tuner as best I could. With a 3 foot wire attached for an antenna I managed to pickup several FM station and heard them faintly with my headphones using a jumper to the RCA speaker outputs. I could not pickup an AM station however my portable radio only picks up one AM station and weakly at that. The glue that holds the tuner knob on has lost its sticky and the knob tends to come of but not fall off. There is a small ding in the bottom left corner on the front. The last picture shows one of the stations I locked onto. With the 3' antenna lead. The stereo is a bit dusty. Dirty, with tape residue and just years of accumulation. It was used in a business thus the condition. Because I could not pickup an AM station with the built-in AM antenna I do not know if the AM works.
