The Velodyne HGS-15 is an audiophile grade. Servo controlled subwoofer powered by a 3000 watt peak Class D amplifier. The unit is finished in a beautiful gloss black that really shines. The unit does have a couple of blemishes on the corners, one of which is at the bottom and not really visible. I have owned a number of subwoofers over the years. Including a few Earthqauke Supernovas. This unit regularly put those to shame in my home theater.
