A small double bay station that stored a 85 ft. ariel ladder, two attack pumpers and a modifed ambulance for a support vehicle was at the far end of town. We were the first company at Kennywood when the micro burst hit and fought hard at Tech-met chemical fire. 1940's Romantic COLONIALS in PARIS Reliance SILHOUETTE Reverse Painting on Glass
Flat glass measures 8 x 10" On a cream white background shows the American Mother and her young lady being presented a bouquet of flowers by a young Parisian boy. Sweet and very romantic. The condition is very nice and clean but the paint is crazed on the very bottom mostly on left side. The back side appears to have had a Glue paper that went around the border of the cardboard back and adhered it to it and the wood frame. It probably dried and fell off and this is how I found it.
