Reliance Thyristor/SCR 86466-91V
This thyristor is used but is in nice overall condition. This was tested by connecting it to a circuit made by our tech involving a DC power supply and a motor. Then a small power supply for the gate circuit. The motor without a load on it would run as long as the gate was energized. As soon as the gate power was turned off the motor would turn off. When the shaft of the motor was given some resistance(so it would draw more current) then the gate was energized, we were able to de-energize the gate and the motor would stay running as long as the motor was still drawing more current. As soon as the shaft of the motor was set free there was no extra resistance on it, the circuit would be interrupted and the motor stopped spinning. I will include the small plastic bag with scre ws. I bought this kit for use on my home panel with my generator. I installed in about 18 months ago and pulled it out when I bought a new house several months back. It installed rather easy and worked great. While installed on my house I would hook up the generator and test the switch every quarter and it worked perfect every time. I also have a 25' power cable to go from the generator to the panel. I think it's a 10 ga cord with L5-30 plugs on it. I'd be ok with selling this to the buyer for $30 more if they want it. Otherwise I'll list it after this auction ends. I no longer have the box or manual for this but ... moreif the winning bidder would like I would be glad to email a PDF version of the manual.
