THIS UNIT WAS OBTAINED FROM STORAGE AND I WAS TOLD THAT IT HAD NOT BEEN PLAYED IN QUITE SOME TIME. I PLAYED A COUPLE ALBUMS ALL THE WAY THRU AND IT WORKED FINE. IT SEEMED TO DRAG JUST A TAD WHEN I FIRST PLAYED IT BUT GOT BETTER THE LONGER IT PLAYED. ALSO I DID HEAR SOME CRACKLING SOUNDS SO THE NEEDLE AND BELT MAY NEED TO BE REPLACED SOON. THE ARM DID RETURN AFTER IT FINISHED PLAYING A RECORD LIKE IT IS SUPPOSED TO AND THE CUEING. SIZE AND SPEED CONTROLS WORK. NO OTHER TESTING WAS PERFORMED AND THIS UNIT MAY HAVE OTHER ISSUES THAT I AM NOT AWARE OF. THE DUSTCOVER HAS SOME SCRATCHES AND IMPERFECTIONS BUT I SEE NO CRACKS.
