Up for auction is a red Blitz fuel or gas can. 2 1/2 gallons(9.5 liters) with pour spout. Paint loss and very light surface rust as seen in photos. Marked on top, beneath handle; DOT-51/ USMC/ 20-2 1/2 84. I think the 84 is likely the year of manufacture. Light surface rust in spots on spout, too. The inside is very clean, and the last photo is my attempt at getting a photo of the inside. Hard to do when the hole is about an inch in diameter and the lens tends to block light from getting inside. But it is clean. Shipped to U.S. only, Parcel Post or Priority Mail. This sale is for quantity three. 2.5 gallon metal blitz gas cans. These are in good overall shape. My camera cannot take pics of the inside of these as the openings are too small however uppon inspecting with a flashlight, 1 of them is very clean, the second is somewhat dirty, and will likely need a quick sloshing out, the third has a decent ammount of rust inside, it looks like it could be acid etched or boiled out though. These types of cans are excellent for ATV's, 3 of them will fit on the front or rear rack and you can secure them with a ratched tie down, since they are metal they wont crack in the sun and they wont bend and brake like the plastic ones to when you try to tie them down

These are in very nice clean condition. Both are spotless inside but do show some light wear to the outside. The spouts& vents are in nice condition& work great. Both do have some very light traces of black marker on them that says"mixed gas" Actually pretty hard to see but it is there& you should know. I wiped them down with some wd-40& they look great! Here is a really nice vintage 2.5 gallon gas can complete with the spout. Spout gasket, spout cap, and can vent cap. The vent cap bail is in terrific condition. These are built strong and ready to provide you with a lifetime of service. This can has never had fuel in it! The cap and spout(nozzle) was removed apparently early in its life. I teamed it with a used. But very good condition cap and nozzle so it is ready to begin its work life for you. It is all cleaned up inside and out and ready to go to work for you.
