If it requires replacing a board it would be more. On the other hand. You will probably get better service and prices from X-Rite USA. It would be best to contact them for an estimate and find out what the cost would be. They will probably want to look at the machine before quoting. There are two different settings, one for transparencies, and onefor reflective paper. There are two different lights for the settings and theyboth go on when the switch is moved. The yellow dial on the unit can be turnedby hand, but the unit does not appear to be measuring anything. There is asliding color viewfinder, which appears to be intact with different color view fields. I have never used this device soI don’t know how it works. Sold as is. It could be repaired, used for parts, or would make a great addition to any antiques collection, a great office decoration, or conversation piece.

Seems to work when I turned it on. Tried it with a piece of film and seemed to work. I don't know densitometers so I can't guarantee it is still calibrated correctly or will work as you intend it to. However, this was taken from a working environment when my local photo lab went out of business. As far as I know they used it and kept everything calibrated with it. Does not come with power cable but that is standard you can find them everywhere. Serial# 011401 Comes with 1 official and 2 printed copies of the manual. This unit was part of an auction lot that I purchased about 15 years ago. I've never used it but it seems to be working OK. As you can see from the pictures. It is in good condition with normal signs of wear. As you can see. the knob does not stay on, but you can still take readings by pressing the plate on top. It comes with the"outdated" reflection and transmission calibration tablets. The power cord and the instruction manual. I am selling this unit as-is so please bid accordingly. Thanks!
