A very unique piece. This is a vintage wooden boxed industrial pipe locator. The original metal detector? It operated on 4 large dri-cell batteries that are still in the battery compartment. see pics} It appears to have most of the parts except for the ends of the ear phones. I am sure this is NOT in operating condition. Should be considered a conversation piece only. I am not sure of the age, but am guessing early to mid 1900s. It is very heavy and shipping will be expensive. Calculated on 50Lbs}It is also available for pick up in Southern N.H. The overall measurement of the box is 11.25"w x 12.5"H x 10.25" deep.
