TV-2/U tube tester/ checker in very good used condition. As far as I know. All functions work properly and seem to be in good calibration. I've tested many tubes on this tester and never had any problem. All meters, switches and controls work properly and accurately. This tester will test many Western Electric tubes including 300B type. I've mainly used it for 6L6 type power tube matching. I have been selling off much of my collection since I have retired. Here are just a very few examples of tubes this tester can test: WE 274A/B, 300B, WE 310A, WE 350A, 12AX7, 801A, 807, 5691, 5692, 5693, 6146, 00A, 01A and 0Z4 as well as most loctal tubes and early double digit tubes. It will also check many ballast tubes. This tester can closely match tubes because of its ability to individually control plate, screen and grid voltages. There is a roll chart mounted inside the case on the lid that covers most common electron tubes. There is also a booklet that I will enclose that gives the data settings needed for testing many more tubes. The test leads have been replaced with the correct high voltage type insulation. The red lead is typically deteriorated in these testers so having good test leads is a plus for you. The power cord has also been replaced with a new grounded type. Condition is very good. There are a few dings(a small dent on the bottom of the case near one of the feet) and paint chips due to normal age and use. Overall. It is very presentable for your workbench. There are also two things I would like to note with this tester: 1) As can be seen by the photos, the grey paint has flaked off especially on the left side and some on the right side as well as the bottom near the pushbutton switches. It does have a calibration potentiometer for the mains voltage and it has been calibrated. And some old resistors and capacitors replaced to ensure to be trouble free for years to come and can test almost every tube type. A 5R4 is being tested in the pictures for quality and filament continuity on both sections. The tester also has a noise test that uses a regular headphone jack(1/4 inch) and it works as well. Information is widely available and here is a link to the manual that is already included with the tester. That any tube is tested in the diode mode. It is a way to go, and I have found some that are working amazingly well, like for instance the Superior Instruments TV10 or TV11. They look so old fashioned, you would not give much for it. However they have all modern sockets, even a subminiature socket. They have a quite complete roll chart, plus a calibration potentiometer for the mains voltage. The rectifier for the meter is a tube with the TV10, and solid state for the TV11. It means you have to pay some attention to the TV10's and TV11 rectifier circuit, which measures the mains voltage. The TV10 and TV11 separate the bad tubes from the good ones in a reliable way, and leakage test is working very good. lamp must go one below 300.400k Ohms) The wooden case is solid oak wood, which can be restored very nice. Here's a very nice Eico 666 tube tester. This is one of the nicest looking ones I've ever seen. Even the case is very nice. Inside. It's had the old caps and diodes replaced and it's been calibrated according to eico specs. Manual is included which also has some chart updates and even the building instructions. The Pictures show it testing a marginal 6L6 and then a new 6L6. The third tube being tested is a new RCA 12AX7. NOTE: the 12AX7 data settings on the chart are wrong. The correct ones are written on the front of the manual.

Up for your consideration is an Intercontinental Dynamics Corp. Air Data Tester Model VPT-10C. Serial#C 2556-03025. It powers up, all of the gauges work, but it has not been tested beyond that. It comes with a power cord, various hoses, and fittings to make the different connections required. There are various scratches and residue on the machine and the case. One of the rubber bumpers on the outside corners is missing, and two others are damaged. According to the stickers on the machine, it has not been calibrated since September of 2000. This item is being sold as is. Please ask any questions you might have. Make sure to look at the other items that I currently have listed. I mainly use Fed Ex even though the calculator shows it as UPS. The price will remain the same. I get far better service from them than UPS.
