WELLER LARGE DK BROWN JARDINIERE-SCROLL PATTERN-XLNT CN
I have several Weller jardinieres similar to this in my collection. With high gloss, wonderfully rich shades of green, gold and brown, and with Weller's matte I've never been able to determine a particular pattern name in which to include them however because of their unique glaze treatment. This same Weller mold was also used for pieces with the Clinton Ivory glazing treatment in both brown and light green shades for the"wash. but the glossy colors of these- whether done in a single solid color or 2-tone colors(even a few multiple colors but not considered the same type of"blended glaze" as, say, McCoy Pottery or Robinson Ransbottom) stand apart. A large and"hefty" jardiniere fully glazed in a rich, deep milk-chocolate brown gloss finish. It measures about 7-3/4" tall and 9" diameter and is in EXCELLENT ... moreCONDITION: my examination shows NO nicks or chips NO; abrasions or scuffing(NOTE: the underside shows two small areas with what appears to be slight abrasions, but I do believe this is original to the manufacturing process, not after-market abrasion or scuffing) NO hairline or other cracks; NO visible evidence of repairs or restoration; very uniform glaze coverage and coloration; only moderate visible signs of wear(primarily a bit of mineral staining in a ring around the bottom of the interior sides- this may clean up very nicely and fairly easily- I will leave that task to the next owner) Although it is not marked the underside has the"streaked" effect very common in similar Weller gloss-glazed jardinieres, and the Art Nouveau-inspired scroll-pattern of the mold is unmistakenly Weller, as shown in the Huxford reference book. The Huxford reference book(published in 1999) shows a book value for this exact piece, with the high-gloss glaze, of $90-$110. Up for auction is a fine old Antique Chinese Silk Embroidered panel. This is a very old piece. It measures 33" x 31 1/2" The piece in the center is in nice condition with no damage. The border of the piece is super fragile and coming apart. The top right corner has a piece of material under it. It is still falling apart. The piece has been tipped in a few spots on the top border. The piece is not glued down but is so fragile that I am going to ship it the way it sits. It is not going to arrive perfect but the pieces will be there. Once again the inner image is good. It is in nice condition. It is fresh out of a recent old collection.

This is fresh from the estate of a long time collector who had it packed away for decades. With the lid in place it stands about 4 3/8” high. And without the lid it is 3 7/8” high. It bulges to about 3 ¼” wide. It is in excellent condition with no chips. Nicks, hairlines, repairs or stains. It has the customary minor roughness around the rim. Consolidated Pink Cased Glass Scroll Pattern Salt & Pepper Shakers w/Lids 3 1/4"
This is a pair of matching pink cased glass salt and pepper shakers in a scroll and floral pattern. I am guessing they were made by Consolidated Glass. As most shakers of this type were. On the bottom of one of them I can see 2 letters embossed onto the surface of the glass- TJ" or something similar. These can be seen in my 3rd photo, the shaker on the left. I have no idea what the letters stand for. Both shakers have old lids, although the 2 lids don't match each other. The shakers are 3 1/4" tall without their lids. The threaded area on the top is 15/16" across. The shakers are in excellent condition. With no cracks or large chips. There are small nicks on the corners of the bottom of the left shaker in my 3rd photo. There is also a tiny bottom corner nick on the other shaker.
