Up for grabs is a rare item. A bias board and bias pot off a Fender Deluxe Reverb 1964. I know its a 1964 because I took it off the AMP MYSELF and it says Fender ELECTRIC on it. I purchased this from BK Butler in 2011. I paid $375 for it new. It is in like new condition. It has not been gigged and has been used in a smoke free home. The foot pegs have been replaced with velcro so it would not get tossed around. It looks new. It works like new. Adjustable 6V6 6BQ5 EL84 cathode bias resistor for your Champ or custom tube amp
U.S. bidders only. Please. This is a 1k(1000 ohms) adjustable bias resistor for Champ. Valve Junior, Supro, Kalamazoo or any number of small single ended tube amps or custom amp builds using a 6V6, 6BQ5, EL84 or various other tubes. It's adjustable from close to zero ohms all the way up to 1000 ohms. Simply slide the bracket along the resistor body, select the resistance you want and tighten the screw. You can set it to 130, 250, 270, 330, 470, 500. all the way up to 1k. You need a multimeter to find your setting. The bracket can be turned over for clearance if necessary. It's approximately a 5 watt resistor. It's 2 1/2" long. It's like having a whole box full or resistors, any bias resistor you want even in the middle of the night on Sunday! Mesa Boogie DC-3 head w/ bias test pts, Hammond OT & choke, & clean ch mods
This is a great amp that I would not part with had I not just bought a used Lonestar Classic 4X10. An authorized Boogie tech- Anthony"the amp monk" in Austin- installed an adjustable bias with bias test points on the amp; he also installed a Hammond output transformer and a Hammond choke; and he did some clean channel mods to make it more Fendery. In addition. I installed a brand new reverb pan a couple of months ago. Lastly, the stock DC-3's OT did not allow for a 16 ohm speaker output; the Hammond OT does, and so you have your choice of an 8 ohm speaker output or a 16 ohm output. Previous to the mods. This amp had respectable cleans and a good lead channel. With the mods, the amp has great cleans. The choke and larger OT also opened up the lead channel as well, making the gain more useable so that you can now play confidently ... morewith the gain on 3 or the gain on 10. The head shell is in fair condition as you can tell by the pics; the biggest issue is that the head shell is quite faded. If it really bothers you. Then there are good head shells that can be purchased on EBAY or you can get one straight from Boogie. The amp itself works flawlessly; you can switch the EQ in or out although I always left it on- no matter what channel I was on. I will include a matched quad of Sovtek EL84Ms(rated 29) from the Tube Depot. The Sovteks have@ 20 hours on them. I will also include a matched quad of JJ EL84s that I bought from Eurotubes- they have@ 75 hours on them. And I will include a matched quad of Mullard reissues(rated 29) from the Tube Depot. For preamp tubes will include a pair of Mesa SPAX7s. 1 Tung-sol reissue 12AX7s, 1 Mullard reissue 12AX7, an Electro Harmonix 12AX7, and a Genelex Gold Lion high gain 12AX7 that will make the amp scream in such a good way. Mesa Boogie has manuals available for all of their amps. Simply go to their website and navigate your way to the manual. For those who see this. You know what it is. These pedals are few, and far between, and especially in this condition with all of the original paperwork, box, and even the styrofoam that came in the box originally. IF YOU BUY IT NOW. I will include a vintage Mullard 12AX7 preamp tube that really makes this pedal come to life even more. This model of the pedal has the bias knob. Which can be used to optimize the sound with any 12A_7 tube, and can really vary the sound of the pedal, which is a $125 upgrade from Butler. Three(3) Maxell UR-F 60 minute normal bias cassette tapes from 1985-1987 era. These are in"LIKE NEW" condition. Pretty sure these are rare as I haven't really seen these ones except on an occasion or two. Tapes and J-card inserts are practically mint. Forwarded each one to check condition of the tape itself and is also mint with NO stretch curl or track lines. Also head pads have no residue. as if they were only recorded once for archival purposes. At least one has Christmas music on it, didn't check the other 2. the condition of these speak for themselves. Bidding only to the US lower 48. Paypal only. LILAC Modded Rega Planar 3 RB300/Michell Technoweight/Rega Bias Cartridge Here we hav a very cool turntable… It's a very rare genuine Lilac Rega Planar 3/RB250 tonearm/Bias cartridge with some upgrades… 1) The RB250 arm has been fitted with a Michell Engineering Technoweight(£85) 2) It has been fitted with a Stainless steel pulley(£20) 3) It has what looks like Kimber cable attached and is terminated with a male IEC. Probably better to put a plug on it. 4) It has had Female RCA connectors neatly fitted on the back. So your favourite interconnect can be used… the Rega arm is grounded, so no need for a ground cable. 5) New belt fitted. Cosmetically it is nice and presentable. But it does have a couple of chips to the left of the plinth(please see close up photo further down in listing) and the odd surface scuff. The lid has a ... morenumber of small scratches and marks. It sounds great. And looks superb, the bass is very tight, and it stages very well… a pleasure to listen to. Circa 1850 or before. This same style was in vogue from the late 18th Century through the mid 19th century. This piece is about 3 3/4" long X 2 3/8" wide X 7/8" thick. The lid has a lip on it that seals the contents very tightly. There are 2 thin hairline cracks on the white rim that are not distracting. This also could have been used for storing tinder; fine filaments of leaves, etc. for fire starting, and a small strike-a-lite and flint. This piece has the deep, dark aged untouched patina that collectors love and that takes 150+ years to develop; and could still be used today.
