Connectors are made by Hirose Sumicon and are locking shells with a button release. I am not sure what exactly these would be used for but the are similar to the 24pin connectors on my old Sony CCU-300 for connecting up the outboard(remote) control panel. Karl Ens was known for his fine animal figurines. His company was later purchased by Rosenthal. Both pheasants are hallmarked with the green hallmark. I do believe that the hallmark on the larger pheasant is a tad bit earlier. Age: 1920-1939 Measurements: Male: Approximately 9 1/2" in height Female: Approximately 7 1/2" in height Condition: Male: The bottom is rough where it was pulled from the mold- you can't see it when it stands but it looks like a chip. A pair of smiling. Creepy demons that I purchased many years ago and have been in my display case ever since. Seller informed me they came from somewhere in Africa. The male demon has a pair of horns on his head; the female does not. The finish on the female figure is better than that of the male figure. These are made of some sort of heavy solid metal which I can not identify. Figures stand approximately 4" high. They are pretty unsettling with their toothy-grins, and more than a couple of visitors have told me they would be frightened to have them in their own homes. Pair of Wooden Carved Statues These two statues are carved wood. And were purchased by myself in Tunis Medina(Tunisia, Northern Africa) They appear to be either dark wood. Or stained dark. They have some fading/ discolouring to the reverse, i can't remember if they were bought like this, as i have had them for about 7 years now, and have always displayed them facing forwards, as you would expect. One appears to be a man with his hand in his mouth. The other a woman carrying a pot on her head, with a baby in a sling to her side. They are quite thin and tall- please see first picture for a size indication. I have left my pen next to one of the statues to give you an idea of the size ratio. Up for auction are 2 vintage African Fertility hand carved wooden statues/figurines. There is a male and a female. They come from Africa and are carved from a very hard wood(reflective of shipping costs) The female is 12” in height and is 4 ½” wide. see picture# The male is 11” in height and is 4 ½” wide. Both statues appear pregnant. The male statue also has male genitals. see picture# The male weighs 1 lb. 20 ozs. The female weighs 1 lb. 10 ozs. Together they weigh 3 lbs. 6 ozs. They are made from a very solid wood. I do not know which country or tribe they come from. But know these are very old. Vintage figurines from Treasure Craft Pottery. California. Two ceramic pieces depicting w hat I feel are Cu ban dan cer and drummer. Off white crackled with brown paint. Female dancer looks to have a repair to her neck and hand as shown. I did not do the repairs I purchased it this way. She also has a small paint fl ake to her hand as shown. I noticed a brownish mark on a lower ruffle on her back area(see picture) It appears to be under the glaze. Also noticed some tiny, tiny whit e dots at back on bottom.
