Machined brass plate from the early 1900's. This is a very rare and hard to find electrical device from over 100 years ago. It is even harder to find them complete! I have included a 1916 catalog page that shows the 12A 250V version of this device. The one I'm listing is the turn of the 20th century manufactured 6A 250V version. The receptacle is in excellent shape along with the plate, no chips or damage anywhere. Like everything from the early 1900's. It is Made in USA! In the late 1960's I removed this from a then soon-to-be demolished Logan Estate mansion ... morealong the Delaware River where Neshaminy State Park is now in Bensalem. PA. It is in the as-removed condition and has been stored in a dry, temperature controlled, non-smoking environment since then. As with all of my listings. They have been lightly cleaned to rem ove dust but they still have somet hing on them that comes off when wiped with a c lean cloth. Perhaps oil? I'm not sure. There is also varying degrees of wear to the finish. Please lo ok at photos. The early amer ock plates were marked with" Amerock" on the back and were heavier than the subsequent p lates which were marked with an"A" with a circle around it. Vintage Paulding Porcelain Ceiling Fixture Top Wired Combination Pull Receptacle
Vintage Porcelain Light Fixture This porcelain light fixture comes in its original box. It does not appear to have ever been mounted. It is Cat. No. 1629T and was manufactured by John I. Paulding, Inc. in New Bedford, Mass. this ceiling light fixture is a combination with a pull receptacle. This item measures 4 3/8" around and 2" tall, the part of this fixture where the light bulb screws in is 1" across. The original string is still attached to the pull chain, the back of this fixture has 2 screws screwed into it and is numbered 1629T and 250W 250V. Inside the box are 2 additional screws for mounting this fixture. This fixture comes in its original box which does show some signs of wear and damage however it makes a neat look when displayed together. Available for sale is an unusual and rare Italian Hand Blown Glass Wine Bottle. It is 23" tall. 6.5" in dia. at the bottom and made of heavy green glass. There is a large"Bulb" inside the bottle with it's own cork from the outside of the bottle. I have read that it may have been for ice, but am not positive. Than there is a separate pouring spout off the side of the bottle and separate from the main neck of the bottle that has the cork. There is a woven ratan or straw material that extends 4.5" around the bottom of the bottle. The tags on the out side of the bottle read as: Chianti Gori Gori- Nello Gori Certaldo Italy. Vtg Brass exterior outdoor receptacle outlet / switch plate screw cap steampunk
Antique Solid brass. Outside early, old style, bakelite duplex receptacle outlet or switch plate, screw cap cover. Has chalky green- grey patina. Caps are caved or dented, the right one more so. Caps thread on and off smooth. This style of plate was used on commercial. Residential, mobile home trailers, RV's. Machine. Goggles look, industrial age, Airstream interest.
