TAXCO BIRD PINS Up for auction is an early. Probably 19403, double bird pin. The male has a green cabochon stone with a chain connecting from his tail feathers to the beak of the female. Both are marked TAXCO, 960( for the silver content) and the makers mark. I have not polished the piece and will leave that to buyers preference. The male measures 1 1/2" tall by 1" wide. Pair of Skookum Indian Male and Female Matched Twin Dolls Excellent Condition
This is a very nice set of Skookum dolls. Created by Mary McAboy. She began production of these dolls in 1913, depicting Native American tribes and customs. They were sold to tourists and were so successful that in 1920 she partnered with JJ Tammen Company of Denver, who produced them until the 1960s. These dolls are post 1948, as their heads are composition, I think, their shoes are brown and are plastic. Each stands 6 1/2" tall. One wears a blue gingham skirt and a flowered blouse, her brother wears pants. Both are in very very good condition, from a nonsmoking home. Their shoes are marked" Trademark Skookum Bully Good Indian.Patent US. If you like these dolls, please check my other auctions, as I have one very early maie doll, and I am happy to combine lots to save on postage.

2 Antique/vintage Figurines: These appear to be very old Ceramic Figurines/Male and Female on the bottom of each is a Light yellow round sticker which states A Jeffrey Alan Products. Made in California with a Female in the middle in a hood and older coat. They have some serious paint missing areas. But those can be repainted and made to look great, or just keep them as is. The girl is a an old Black Dress with red apron and red hat holding a book and pot maybe? The boy has black short/blue jacket, red shoes and red hat. Looks possibly dutch. Female has lovely bouquet of flowers in her hand and other hand is extended with lovely red polish. She is wearing a wreath, perhaps veil. Wrapped in ceramic lace. Male is wrapped in same3 lace, leaning forward with hand over heart. Actually these might be bride and groom. The lace trim is not perfect with some chips on the bottoms, here and there. I am not sure if her veil has a missing section on the top area beside her face, very hard to tell. Lovely hand painted faces as well. Neat set!
