TPL Model: PA3-1FE Has been removed from service and was used at 153.320 MHz. I have tested it on 2-meters and it works fine! Although. My understanding is that there are 4 internal adjustments. Two for minimizing the input drive SWR, and two for maximizing the power output. If one wishes to use it over a wider spectrum, then all four adjustments should be made using a spectrum analyzer to obtain the best overall performance. This is a very clean and nice unit. Both the power amp proper and the power supply have factory seals. I will not accept return if you tamper with the seals. You will find no disappointment with this unit. This amplifier is in excellent condition and has no major blemishes. It was tested in both stereo and bridged operation and worked flawlessly. Don't let the low wattage fool you. This little thing powered two large home stereo speakers with authority. It played several different types of music very clear with no distortion at high volume. Running bridged triples the power output and powered a subwoofer quite nicely. This amp could be used for many things. From home stereo to studio. Even live or dj applications.
