For sale is a nifty little ruby and diamond bar pin I picked up at an estate sale years ago. Not really sure how old the pin is. But I'd guess 1960s based on the cut of the stones and the general manufacture. Six round brilliant diamonds. Fully 57 faceted, are channel set in teo groups of three. All diamonds are Si2-I1(eye clean, show some small light colored inclusions with 10x magnification, NO black spots) H to I color(no visible tint) Diamonds are really uniform and well matched for size and cut.table sizes are all fairly equal.all shine very well and evenly. Average measures 1.6mm x1.6mm x.9mm Total diamond weight = appr. 0.10ct. Rubys are all square step cut(emerald cut) and are lightly included.they look awesome to the naked eye, but have enough going on under 10x to let you know they are CLEARLY natural and not'created' ... moresynthetic) All are medium dark in tone and strong in saturation, red to slightly purplish red in color.gorgeous color. All nine stones are very well matched for color, cut, and size.very nice uniformity. They measure on average 1.95mm x1.95mm x 1.4mm Total ruby weight = appr. 0.26ctw.
