Vintage Crouse Hinds Large Explosion Resistant Industrial Light Fixture Antique
Vintage Crouse Hinds Large Industrial Light Up for bids is a nice vintage Crouse Hinds industrial light. It is well built and weighs 21 pounds. The light is in good condition for its age with no major cosmetic flaws. The glass does have some little specks on the inside that are rough to the touch. A lot of information on the badge can be seen by using the zoom tool while viewing the picture. The dimensions are 16.5" tall x 9.5" at the widest spot. The glass alone is heavy and large at roughly 6.5" tall x 5.5" wide. There is a low starting price so get bidding and good luck! Vtg. Crouse Hinds Search Spot Light (20" Diameter) 500 Watt Rescue Light, RARE!
10" diameter x 9" deep and stands about 18" tall copper and brass ship rescue spot light. The can is all copper and the base and yoke are brass. The glass was replaced with plastic covering that is scratched. The light was painted at one time and that paint is chipping off showing the copper base. Will need to be rewired. Plate hard to read but I believe type is DCE and Watts are 500w. Very unique piece. The screws are missing to hold the lens cap on.

This is an aluminum frame and glass lense ships light we purchased from an estate sale. This light was off a large boat or small ship. The entire light measures about 11 inches tall and 5 inches wide. The glass lense is still in great shape with no cracks but small chips on the edge of the lense where no one can see them. I have for your bidding pleasure a pair of Crouse Hinds VDA 2200'S With 14" shades. They come complete with V912 Guards and V200 Glass globes. The Globes are in excellent shape. No cracks chips or blemishes. Their is a couple chips in the white porcelain on the under side as seen in the pictures.The Green Porcelain is in great shape. The sockets have been removed, cleaned and tested along with new gaskets installed. Payment is to be threw Pay Pal and is Expected within 3 days of auction ending. Vintage cast aluminum Crouse Hinds Spot Light that is in good condition. The lamp measures approximately 24" tall. And 17" across the face(the glass lens is 13 3/4" in diameter) The bulb inside appears to be intact(500 watt bulb) I don't have the cord required to plug in the lamp- all parts appear to be present and in good condition. The aluminum case is missing some areas of paint(may have been repainted at some time? And the lens has some marks. Although I note a long gouge in the red one that I can't tell if it is a factory inclusion or something else. Definitely not a crack. All the lights do not have cracks or chips and they are the'smiley face' kind. The gaskets around the hinge panels are in good shape. Crouse Hind stamp on interior. Crouse Hinds. Beautiful vintage glass lens removed from old"porthole" style light fixture. There is a slight cloudiness on the top part of the outside glass. This is the shape of a downward crescent above"STOP" There is some residue on the outer rim. Front side. Also, on the back rim there is a trace of paint here and there. Because I have no experience with this type of glass. I decided to leave it in this state. I trust that this should polish up fine. The only other minor defects I see are a raised spot on the inside about 1/4" from the left top corner of the"P" And a slight indent- nick, bubble? under the"S" seen at the tip of my ring finger in the first photo. Offered for auction today is a vintage Crouse- Hinds Traffic Light from the 1960's or 1970's. My best frie nd was cleaning out storage areas at his farm yesterday and saved this piece for me. He can't recollect that it was ever used at the farm or how it ended up in one of his storage areas under years of debris. I dusted it off and checked it out(Lights and lamps are a hobby of mine) It appears to never have been used for it's in tended purpose and has the original wiring inside. I could hook it up and make the lights work if someone wants; thought I'd leave it for now as found. It measures 36.25" tall with the top brac ket. And 10" wide at the casing. Bracket serial numbers: KL5773 and 6389-D. Other lettering and numbers are pictured. It has the original paint and beyond a few scrat ches from storage. Looks ... morelike new. Up for sale is a VINTAGE CROUSE-HINDS CAST IRON ELECTRICAL LIGHT. The light measures 17x8 inches tall. It has brass hardware. One thumb screw is missing. This light needs to be rewired, it has no wiring at all. the convex lens is in great shape. The unit has light surface rust. It has been sand blasted no paint left at all. It has been rubbed down with WD-40 when that dries it will be rusty again, it will need to be painted by the new purchaser. This is a very heavy light, shipping weight is 36 pounds. This light came out of a railroad depot. The light had a 400 watt bulb in it that got broken, no bulb is included. It has mounting holes around the perimeter for mounting. Up for auction is a LARGE VINTAGE CROUSE-HINDS EXPLOSION PROOF LIGHT FIXTURE. The fixture is in excellent condition but is being sold as is. We have not tested this fixture. All electrical fixtures should be tested by a qualified and or licensed electrician. This is a fairly large and heavy industrial fixture. The globe is a CROUSE-HINDS V 200. The fixture is approximately 10-3/4" tall. It needs a base gasket but that's normal for industrial lighting of this age. The cork gasket that rests between the socket and the base of the fixture is dried out. Cracking and may need to be replaced. Any gasket material the same thickness will do. Up for Auction is a Set of 1930's-40's Vintage Industrial Crouse-Hinds Co. Green Po rcel ai n Enamel Airport Lights/Lamps. These lamps were made by the Crouse-Hinds Co. of Syracuse. New York and were used in the Airport Hangers. They are h eavy and sturdy and are all original includ ing the original metal labels. They have the original glass cover globes and one of the lights has the original mounting bracket. The porcelain shades are 18 inches in diameter and are 5 inche s deep and the glass cover globes are 8 inches in diameter and 7 inches deep with the total depth from end of glass globe to the top of the lamp being about 16 inches. The mounting bracket on the one lamp measures 7-1/2 inches long. All three of the lights are in very good original condition for their age. There are some chips in the enamel.
