This snare drum is made by Premier. It is from their Cabria Series. The drum is 14" x 5.5" And the finish is called Topaz. The wood is 7 ply Mahogany. The batter head is an Evans Reverse Dot Coated, the resonant head is the stock head. Both have plenty of life left on them. The snares are brand new. Everything, including the throw off works fine. Of sorts. think marbles cut in half. and they're thoughtfully staggered from the front to the back side so that loved. Collected and appreciated for their magical lightbending qualities THIS tile is unusual, unique and quite rare. what makes it rare? its seldom you see anything but colorless clear tiles in this pattern. manufacturers jumped into the game of producing prism tiles a little later than the other prism tile companies. Around 1918 the use of manganese was deemed expensive and extraneous therefore no longer included into the standard glass recipe. it was the manganese coupled with sun exposure that created the magical alchemy to purple. glass companies used it routinely for ... moreyears to assist with the ease of pouring molten glass into moulds. to my mind. The unfortunate net result is that you'll never see an amethyst tinged tile sold by manufacturers. while manufacturing colored tiles appeals to me. S o Unique. You don't find them like this anymore. This is a Covered Stackable Coaster Set that has 6 coasters and 1 cover for a total of 7 pieces. From the 1960's. Fully stacked it measures approximately 4 inches tall and 3.25 inches wide. The cover of these coasters almost look like a gold powder compact. It is a gold cover with a mesh design in the gold and them a white inlay design. Almost like odd shaped wings. The handle is set like a crown with a topaz colored stone in it. Stunning. The actual coasters are gold around the perimeter. The inside of the coaster has a glass bottom that covers a design of 3 separate coins. They are a 1866 1 dollar piece. A 1829 5 dollar piece and a 1915 2 1/2 dollar piece. The backside of the coasters are gold and look like a powder compact with a tight scalloped design. I took pictures near a window so you can get a better idea of the color, appears to be yellowish with green undertones to me? but again I'm no expert as this is not usually something I collect. There are many bubbles throught the glass. There is what appears to be a small chip on the corner of the second row of the thatched roof(5th picture) but it actually looks like a bubble that was too close to the surface that popped. NO other chips or cracks. One side reads: St Drakes 1860 Plantation X Bitters, the other side reads: patented 1862. Bottle measures about 10 1/8" tall, base is about 2 7/8" square. The entire specimen is high quality gem facet material and will cut some very nice. Very large loupe clean gemstones with little to no waste. The color of this piece is a beautiful natural blue indoors and more of an ocean blue/green outdoors. The crystal is naturally terminated at the top and has beautiful natural crystalline surface striations across the entire front surface of the piece. If it were not for the chisel marks on the back of this crystal. And the slice taken from the bottom, it would be a perfectly gorgeous display specimen. But, due to the chiseling on the back, it does allow a view into the crystal and it appears to be almost flawless ... moreexcept for the one veil that goes down the middle of the crystal creating two almost equal halves. Up for consideration is a superb antique Fenton Vaseline Glass footed vase. It is an eye-catching. Glittering display piece in a stunning color. Topaz Opalescent was Fenton’s“official” name for their Vaseline Opalescent Glass production. These pieces will only continue to get harder and more difficult to find. Fenton only produced this glass art vase from 1941 through 1943. In 1943. Fenton had to cease its production of its Topaz Opalescent line when the U.S. government banned the use of uranium in glass manufacturing. So. Only 3 years of production, banned from ever being produced again, and that was 70 years ago- RARE ITEM! This piece glows brightly under a black light and it can even produce a glow(of sorts) ... moreagainst a black background– visually outstanding. Please see photos. This wonderful piece of Fenton glass art is in mint. Pristine condition. There has only been one owner of this vase and it has been in my family for the past 70 years.
