most of our items are antique. And as such, may have normal signs of age. A stunning original Georgian brooch. It's in 18ct. gold. Domed, and with a lovely openwork design of leaves coming down the corners, and set with foiled topaz stones. On either side are two tiny rings, just by the leaves, which probably had drops coming from them. The rim has three holes on the long edge- can't work out what they were for. The reverse has a gold piece put on with a ring at one end- a bit odd to have for a safety chain. And not in the right place to hang as a pendant- so a mystery. The catch has been soft soldered. The main color rhinestone is a blue topaz color- maybe slightly aquamarine blue on all of the jewelry.
