Revell Atlantica Home Raceway 1/32 Scale Slot Car 18' Racing Set Strombecker Packs up neatly with all original inserts present. Sure is a shame those cars are missing! Bridge supports are in bag inside box insert. Missing one of the bridge support bases(the large round part) should be 15. There are 14. All 60 of the support sections are there. All locking tabs are in great shape on all track sections. Three of the spin out aprons have a cracked fence rail post. One of the transition aprons has a piece of fence rail missing. Transformer works perfectly. The long crash fence pieces(Bundle with 2 white twisty ties) have broken off and missing mounting tabs. Sold box with some cosmetic issues. Stains and wear on top. Winning bidder will receive 25% off the displayed shipping rate! Being offered here is a Revell Atlantica 1/32 scale slot car ... moreracing set. This set comes in the original box that is in very solid condition. No corner tears or crushed spots and all interior insert pieces are present. Box top does have some stains and wear. According to the contents list in the instruction manual the set is missing the following: 1. Both cars 2. One spin-out apron fence for 21" radius(has 8 out of 9) 3. One bridge support base(has 14 out of 15) I did not assemble the entire track but did connect the transformer and controllers to the terminal track section and placed a car it. The car responded to each controller and its respective lane on the terminal track. None of the track sections are damaged, all connecting tabs are intact. After a careful inspection the following is the only damage I spotted: 1. Many mounting tabs on the long crash fences are broken off 2. One inside transition apron is missing a piece of fence rail. 3. Three pieces of spin-out apron have cracked fence rail posts Add a couple of cars and this set will be ready to go! Vintage The Dukes of Hazzard Slam Shifters Raceway
This auction is for a vintage 1982 Dukes of Hazzard Slam Shifters Racetrack. I believe it is near complete and a few pieces do have damage. Three pieces of black track have 2 of the flat pieces that connect with the track snapped off. Some of the snapped of parts are still in the slot of the connect piece. I did not put it together to prevent any other damage. The cars are not included. This would be perfect for using as parts or possible repairs. Comes with original box and instructions both have a good bit of wear and some damage. This would be a fun addition to any Dukes of Hazzard collection. This beautiful piece of Saratoga Raceway History was removed from the track after the fire in 1969.During the remodeling period. The racetrack in Saratoga Springs. New York, is named, the Saratoga Race Course. But to get to the history of the track, we first travel back a few centuries, for the history of goes back to the 14th Century. And the Aboriginal Americans who lived and visited here. Much of the appeal of this special place had to do with the healing waters-many different natural waters. ... moreSome effervescent, which were credited with curing myriad ailments. The village-then town-grew and evolved into the City of Saratoga Springs-and always the waters were the center of attraction. By the mid-1800s. The city was the summer home of many wealthy Americans and internationals, and a hotbed of both tourism and gambling. The American War Between the States(the Civil War) was little distraction to those who sought refuge from the heat of cities like New York and Boston-the city rocked on. And prospered. In fact, one month to the day after the heartbreaking Battle of Gettysburg. The Saratoga Race Course was born, officially. You see. On August 3, 1863, two men of great wealth and horse owners, decided to create a race track that would be worthy of their Thoroughbreds. John Hunter and William R. Travers created a track on the north side of Union Avenue in Saratoga Springs. Which now is the site of the Oklahoma Training Track. No doubt the two horsemen had great vision. For they willed into being the Saratoga Race Course-not only the oldest racetrack in the United States, but the oldest sporting venue of any kind in this country. As well.
