Up for sale is a very unique vintage industrial age Killark explosion proof incandescent light as shown in photos. Catalog# ELX-2-500. 500 watt maximum up to 250 volts maximum but can also be wired for 110. Has large reflector approx 20" in diameter. White porcelain inside is chipped out around the mounting screws and also has another large area chip[see photo] Back side of reflector painted green, housing painted red; paint is chipped and faded, scratched and scuffed. Overall height approx. 17" This takes large based screw-in incandescent bulb, bulb not included. The housing is made of cast aluminum, entire assembly weighs approx. 28 lbs. The glass dome has some light scratching but is in fairly good condition considering its age. Also has some small natural air bubbles inside the glass giving it a unique appearance.
