VINTAGE -- Grapette clown, Gedney pig, Sun-ra tilting fat man -- GLASS BOTTLES
All of these vintage 1950's glass bottles are in excellent condition. The Sun-ra tilting fat man is 4" tall; The Gedney pig is 4 1/4" tall; The Grapette clown is 7 1/4" tall. As mentioned above. The bottle cap atop the Sun-ra tilting fat man has been punched with holes as if it was used as a shaker at some point in the past. Don't know if this is the original jar top. The Grapette clown bottle top is in good shape and is original, but its liner is gone. The Gedney pig bottle cap is in fair condition and is simple and white. However, I believe the original cap would have been slotted for use as a piggy bank, similarly to the Grapette clown cap. Please see all photos for views of all sides of all bottles. Crock weights 3 pounds 12 oz. and measures 7 3/4" x 4 5/8" It is labeled"Gedney Dairy Co. Creamed cottage cheese, 501 Charles Ave. phone 5-4134. It was purchased in upstate New York. There are two small hairline cracks but the crock feels solid.

Reenactor Revolutionary War Gedney Godwin Cocked Hat British American
This British or American Private's Cocked Hat was purchased from Gedney Godwin in 1989 for $47.75. It was worn perhaps a half dozen times during garrison interpretations. It has been stored in a closet in a climate-controlled home. Non smoking and pet free. The hat features white worsted trim. A black cockade, white tie-cords,white cambric lining, and a functional pewter button. The size is large: 23 inches. I'll be happy to take any additional photos you may require. This British or American short sword or"hanger" is appropriate for French& Indian War or Revolutionary War. This was purchased from Gedney Godwin in 1988 for $137.50. As you can see. It has never been polished, so the brass has a 25-year patina(plus powder stains) This can be polished or left as is, depending upon your interpretation. The blade is 25 1/2" long. And has no rust or damage. The scabbard has no creases or other damage. Please look at the photos carefully. This sword has been hanging in a closet for over 20 years. We are a non smoking pet-free household. Since only officers and non-coms carried swords. A red wool sash is included with the sword. I'll be happy to take any additional photos you may require.
