I have for auction this stunning french glass pendant light with a gilt bronze fitting. It will date to the 1920s, it was found in a house clearance here in the South of France. I am no expert when it comes to glass. So I am not sure what this type of glass is called, it is very beautiful a nd seems to change colour in different lights. It is slightly clear with a cloudy effect that also takes on a slight bluey colour, please see all my photo's. I adore the pretty wavy/frilly edge and the dimpled design of the glass. Flying Cherub Chandelier This is a super architectural item. It is an original flying gesso cherub. Holding not one but two cut glass crystal chandeliers. A round top bead and a long faceted piece. The wiring and holders are original. Which shows that this is a true period piece, not a modern reproduction. The cherub has a chain to hang it from and I have included a ceiling rose, which is more modern, but has to be better than a white plastic one! The wiring will need replacing before use.
