Authentic Pro Stock Wilson frames. Pro stock frames are racquets made by Wilson specifically for Wilson sponsored professional players such as Mardy Fish and Juan Martin Del Potro. They are hard to come by. The benefit of these frames are the control quality between frames is very consistant. Also the playability of the frames are better than retail frames. More time and money are invested in producing these special racquets. These racquets have a bit of lead tape weight at the top of the grip but it can be easily removed. As far as I know these racquets have been matched to play identical to one another. You can distinguish between the retail racquets from the pro stock frame by the finish of the paint job. The Pro stock frames have a MATTE finish similar to that of the Kfactor six one tour 90. Retail racquets have a glossy finish. Up at auction is a big wave gun. Made by Total Commitment Surfboards. This is a beautiful gun with glass-on fins. The board’s tail section is a tri-fin. Pin-tail. The glass-on fins have carbon fiber glassed into the inside face of the fins(see photos) The fins are in perfect condition. Never repaired and no stress marks. The deck is clear. And the bottom and rails were airbrushed blue(see photo) The bluing on the bottom has an attractive splattering pattern throughout. A black pin-line separates the deck from the rails. All laminates and coloring is original. And is located under the glassing. This board has never been repaired and has no open dings. The crank is counter balanced and secured at it's centre by a slot-headed screw. It has a wooden winding handle. The spool and winding handle rotate smoothly in both directions. With no snagging. The brass foot remains firmly attached and has not been modified. The reel is marked"Made In England" on the side. Please note this reel would appear to have originally been equipped with a switchable check.
