Two Upstrap Camera Straps One is quick release and one is regular The grippy/nubs are worn off primarily on one side the most. These still work but do no grip nearly as much as new. There is also wear and could use a soap and water rinse. I would not recommend carrying two bodies at one but should be adequate for one body. unusual tilting flash bracket w/ Gitzo G1385 camera quick release clamp & plate
You are bidding on one unusual camera flash bracket as pictured. The bracket is unmarked. But the quick release clamp at the bottom is marked"G 1385 MADE IN FRANCE" and is a Gitzo clamp. The matching plate is unmarked, but is undoubtedly a Gitzo plate. The bracket has a speckled gray finish with larger"speckles" than the Gitzo finish. I didn't think Gitzo ever made flash brackets, but based on the finish I suppose that it could have been made by Gitzo. Someone has drilled a series of holes in the quick release clamp on either side. Probably to reduce weight. The bracket has a pair of feet at the bottom. Visible best in the 2nd and 3rd pictures, that allow it to stand all on its own. The grip appears to also be aluminum, and has the same speckled finish as the rest of the bracket. Above the grip the bracket angles in ... moreand then back straight up, with a large plate attached there. I'm not sure what the plate is for(flash batteries, perhaps? but it measures about 3-3/8" by 4" with a special notch at the top and the large lip or fence at the bottom. Someone has added a piece of velcro to the fence, and there is a small piece missing on the right hand side of the special notch as shown in the 10th picture. Above that is the pivot. Which can be rotated 360 degrees, and at the very top, a thumbscrew with standard 1/4" threads. I did not get a shoe with the bracket. At the pivot, the screw and special nut appear original, but the friction washers may be replacements. All I have is what is shown. The bracket weighs about 1 pound 10 ounces including the clamp and plate. The height from where the camera would mount to where the flash shoe would mount is about 11-1/2" Condition. Other than the issues discussed above, is very good but showing wear in the gray speckled finish especially at corners. To My Surprise Fast forward fifteen years(1997-2012) I had kept looking for"Equilibrium" for all those years as I was wanting to reconnect to an ... morealbum that had such a formative impact on my younger self. I found it in 2012. Along with all the rest of Whitecross's material which I didn't have the resources to invest in back in the day. I hadn't heard the band since(I'm pretty certain) 1997, at latest 1998. Reading online reviews, it appeared"Flytrap" was pretty close to"Equilibrium" in terms of sound. So tentatively, nervously, I pushed play on my iPod, and then sank back to see what happened. Pure gold. That's what happened. FLYTRAP WAS THE ALBUM I WAS LOOKING FOR IN 1996. Even though it has a much different feel to it! A decade and a half late, I found the companion to"Equilibrium" I had so desperately wanted way back when. And even though I enjoy"Flytrap" nearly as much as"Equilibrium" as I show later on in the review, it's definitely a different record than its predecessor. TROLLING SPREADER BAR downrigger release planer dipsey
You are purchasing a spreader bar that allows two lures to run side by side. It triggers the natural competitive instinct in fish and the device may be used on a downrigger. Flat lined, or on lead core or wire. I use it for trout and salmon on lake champlain and find it extremely effective. Lake trout devoure it when trolled tight to bottom just behind the plume of silt kicked up by the downrigger ball. I initially used it to compare lure action using an underweater camera and it allows you to run bait next to a lure and compare its effectiveness. It seperates the lures by 12 to 16 inches and folds up neatly to fit in a tackle box. It is amazing how well the lures track without tagling once the bar is in the water.
