Vintage black Western Electric 500DM rotary desk telephone phone bell ringer
This is a vintage black Western Electric 500DM rotary desk phone with a bell ringer. This phone is extremely clean and shiny. Its spring cord is in excellent condition. I am including a black cord to connect it to a wall jack. This phone will work with newer phone jacks. There is a little bit of play/ wobble in terms of the rotary dialing mechanism. But I have tested this phone thoroughly and it worked perfectly. The ringer has an adjustment dial on the bottom of the phone to increase/decrease the ringer volume. On these older phones there is no way to shut the ringer completely off. Please check out my! This is an ongoing trend and these individuals seem to complain if silver prices go down between the day they buy and the day they receive. When one melts silver one can lose as much as 5% of the weight in the smelting process and I can not be held responsible for weight lost after melting. I do not generally melt anything that is well made as it makes little sense to me. So any potential loss should be considered before purchasing my items. All my items are measured with a standard tape measure and are rounded off to the quarter inch. I attempt to be as accurate as possible. But odd surfaces can prove difficult sometimes as I lack a pair of calipers. With over a thousand items in my store. Errors do occur, albeit infrequently. Here is vintage Automatic Electric Monophone Model 80 rotary dial desk telephone in black. The dial on this phone operates smoothly. There are no cracks or chips in the plastic. It has the mild scratches and scuffs of normal use. There is some sticker residue on the body and a little paint smudged on the receiver. The rubber feet have some cracking and the base has wear and a little corrosion. I have not tested the phone and don't know if it works.

Vintage BLACK Rotary Dial Desk Phone Bell Western Electric Md: C/D 500 8-66
You are bidding on a vintage black rotary dial desk phone. This is a Western Electric model C/D 500 8-66. The wall cord is still attached. The handset cord is in good condition with no cracks or breaks in the rubber sheath. All mechanisms are in good working condition. The rotary mechanism works well and has a strong return spring. The on/off hook mechanism has a strong spring and works flawlessly. The coolest part about this phone is the authenticity. It was obviously a home phone and is old enough that the number does not even have all 9 digits. Instead it was part of the GE6 exchange with the number 3991. You can see the adhesive where they had a shoulder cushion at some point. They also have all the stickers for emergency services. This would make a fantastic display/museum piece. Stromberg Carlson Hand Set telephone. Bakelite. Non Dial marked 6345BC-1. Push Button. dial is a single push button) This is a very beautiful telephone and possibly a NOS new old stock find! The cord on the phone is in excellent shape with ID tags still attached. Original inspection tag still attached, bottom felt is excellent. I took off the bottom plate to show how nice inside is and took a picture of the ID sticker. There is not a scratch on this phone. very nice original finish. The phone looks like new. My research is comparing to other phones. So my opinion is, vintage early 1930's, it is Bakelite, and cord tag Duratex MD-4-F matches the period. Vintage Black Kellogg-ITT Desk Phone! Restored! Working! Beautiful! Rare!
Vintage Black Kellogg-ITT Desk Phone! Totally restored. Beautiful, working antique telephone. The Kellogg Switchboard& Supply Co was started in 1897 as A. G. Bells patents were expiring by Milo Kellogg, a former manager at Western Electric's Manufacturing& Research Plant in Chicago Illinois. He mainly supplied smaller independent telephone companies. Switchboards were the specialty as Milo held over 150 patents himself and invented the divided multiple telephone switchboard. Milo got sick in 1901 and almost lost the company. His brother in law has taken over and sold stock to Western Electric who was trying to take over the comany. When he got well Milo had to sue to retain his company and he won. ITT purchased a controlling interest in 1951, they produced eqipment with both names on it for only a short time. Phones with both ... morenames are not easy to find, especially the early ones such as this. There are some that have handsets with both names but only ITT on the phone. Some others are found with the newer logo but I have not found any with the old logo on the handset& phone. This phone is dated 1965 on the base, the ringer is dated 1966. The date on the dial is smudged but appears to be original. This phone was completely disassembled, clean& sanitized. The brass gongs of the ringer have been polished to a terrific shine. All the plastics were cleaned and polished, there may be some minor marks in the plastic but they are hard to find, it polished up nicely. I installed new correct cords, the coiled hanset cord and the hardwired line cord. I have attached a connection block so any modular cord can be used. This phone works as well as it did the day it came out of the factory. The sound of this phones is much better than any electronic telephone produced today. The dual gong ringer gives that ring you will never forget! You can turn off all the electronic warblers on your new phones, leave this one on loud and be able to hear it anywhere in the house! This is a vintage Bell System Western Electric rotary dial telephone. It is jet black. Phone was tested. Ringer works, receiver(listening) was excellent, rotary dial perfect, plunger perfect. Problems are– can’t dial out. Each dial just gives the same dial tone. Talking out was very static. Sometimes hard to understand. Phone looks very good. Nothing chipped cracked, nor broken on the phone that we could see. phone is missing the back cover plate just under the plunger system– see picture) Date: We found one date indicating 1975. Hard to see it, and not 100% on that. Phone requires the standard plug in system still used today. The handset is black bakelite with a new coiled"curly" handset cord. The case is green Thermoplastic. We have added a modular jack to fit standard telephone outlets. This phone is working and rings. Green & Black Granite Desk or Table Top Thermometer & Humidity With Metal Stand
This is a unique green& black granite thermometer& hygrometer(humidity) gauge set with metal removable stand. The thermometer& humidity gauges are in very good condition& they look to be be working well. They can be removed from the granite if need be for some reason. The granite base measures 5" high& 2 1/2" it is almost 3/4" thick. Each gauge has a gold metal rim& measures 1 3/8" across. The gold metal stand screws on the back of the granite and it is removable. I left the tape on the back which held the metal stand so it can be retaped for mailing. The granite has some small scuff marks from storage which are barely visible. I have 2 identical sets available. If someone buys both sets I will combine them and reduce the total shipping fee.
