Hello, I am listing my Shimano Calais CL200 right handed baitcasting reel. I used this rod a lot for one season and then partially used for 3 other seasons. The reason being is that I buy a new reel every year so last years model turns into the backup reel usually with a different bait. If you tournament fish then you know exactly what I am talking about. You'll have 5 rods all spooled up with something different on each one. Last year I bought the newest Team Diawa and I love it. This is probably going to be the first year that I do not purchase a new one. I sold my Ranger two years ago and realized now that when I go fishing I only bring one setup which currently cost me close to a grand. I did just purchase the newest G Loomis NRX which cost me $600.00 and I have last years Team Diawa on that rod. I am dying to try it out however I ... morelive in New Hampshire so today alone was 1degree. Ya. No.that wasnt a misprint. Today was one degree outside! It stinks looking at this 7'3" G Loomis rod which claims to be the best fresh water fishing rod in the world knowing I wont be able to try it out until April at best. Anyway. About my reel. I still have the box it came in and I did send it out to be serviced every year except this past one because I usually send them out in February to get totally cleaned and oiled and basically fully serviced. The reel has no issues and almose looks brand new. I am very anal about my equipment. I do not let them hit the ground, or rest them on the pavement, etc. If you look at the pictures you can see that it is well taken care of. I am also posting a TEAM DIAWA 103H tonight. Up for auction is my personal B&S Bb Shepherds Crook cornet. I used this professionally for a while with great results. It has been great in settings from brass band to wind ensemble to orchestra literature. It has a nice sound and excellent intonation! I only play on B&S instruments! I bought this from a player in the UK who used it before me for brass band playing! The 2nd valve casing is stamped 80961. The Model is 141A. I had some modifications made to it by a repair person in Lafayette. Indiana that does repairs for university professors and world-class musicians! These include some minor dent removal, addition of a thumb saddle to the first valve slide, modified 3rd slide ring so it doesn't hit the bell, and a 3rd slide stop screw mechanism. I recently had it services and he put on new pads, felts, and corks. There are no ... moresigns of red rot and the finish is in excellent condition and is about 99% I am including a brand new Leather Specialties Company hand guard- one of the best I have ever found and I use on all of my other instruments! My music background includes a BME from Central Michigan University. A MM from the Jacobs School of Music- Indiana University, Bloomington. I have taught band for over 12 years as well as toured and played professionally with some of the best players in the world! This horn was used for quite a few of those performances. This is definitely a player! I have described the horn very accurately. This was my pride and joy for quite a long time. I hope it will make someone else as happy as it made me. SX Bass used good shape
This auction is for a uses SX Bass. I don't remember the model number of it. But as you can see. It's a jazz style bass, but a humbucking bridge pickup and a Jazz style neck pickup. The bass is used but in really good shape. It may have some scuffs and scratches but they are minor. I never played this outside th e house. The pick guard still has the original plastic cover on it. That's why it lo oks odd in the pic tures. I bought this from Rondo Music about a year ago. I did not really have it set up or anything. The bass play s well. It's a little buzzy. So if that drives you crazy you might want to have it set up. It never bothered me eno ugh. The sound of the bass is good. I don't think the sx pickups are anything to brag about really. It sounds bassy. I bought it because it has the maple fretboard and the black inlays ... moreand because it had the humbucker. The guitar looks cool. The maple neck actuall y seems to have some figuring or birdseye stuff going on in it. Honestly. Th ese sx basses are the best value for the money I've ever seen.
