Dad was a physicist and tinkered in his shop building electronic stuff all the time so he certainly had the ability to put something like this together. This laser was in a box with a March 1989 issue of the magazine"Radio Electronics" There is a 6 page article by Gordon McComb titled Build this Universal Laser Power Supply.not sure if this is the same unit I have. As you can see one of the connecting wires needs to be soldered back to the power supply. I also don't know for sure if this is Helium Neon laser.just going by the magazine article. Patlex 15 mw Helium Neon Laser with Coherent Power Supply, 633nm, Class lllb
This Helium Neon laser is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical(as far as I can tell) condition. I can’t find any flaws or marks worth mentioning unless we start getting into microscopic inspections. A sturdy mounting bracket is included. I am also including a“Coherent” Laser power supply as well as an accompanying“Laser Drive” power supply. Which has the correct connector. These two are connected and work in tandem to power the laser. This power supply works perfectly but it will require a standard computer power cord which you can find almost anywhere. I just don’t have one to spare. I mean, I have one but I can’t spare it. This sweet laser is fully operational and is guaranteed to fire up. It takes a minute or so for the beam to coalesce after the power supply is plugged in. After that. It just gets stronger up to 15 milliwatts. I know ... morethe picture of the laser beam on a piece of white paper makes the beam look kind of washed-out and lame. But, actually, it's an extremely bright red tight beam. My photography skills just leave something to be desired. This is a nice German-made laser and worth every penny I'm asking for it.

JDS Uniphase Helium-Neon Laser 1135P-2930 with Power supply
Used unit from a working lab instrument(a unit used for training a few days a year. The build date is old but this laser has very few hours on it(~100 total) as it was only used for training. Hook up 12 V DC and you have a nice red laser. I have two of these for sale. If required I can provide the actual power output of both units.

Otherwise I believe it is intact. Laser shines red. I got this setup from a friend about 23 years ago and used to hook it up to my stereo. Was cool back then. Laser works like it did. Galvo should as well. The manufacture date is 1992. Starting at a low opening bid, this will sell.
