Although it's difficult to capture the differences in lighting with my camera phone, if you look at the light bouncing off the wall you can see that the output has clearly changed. I bought it to work on vacuum tube guitar amps and never got around to doing anything with it. Time to make space. I've set this up as a 5 day auction. This listing is for a Staco Variable Autotransformer or variac; model 3PN1010. The input is 120 volts. And the output is 0- 140 volts. There are two ranges, 0- 120 volts and 0- 140 volts. This item came to me in a large lot of surplus electronics equipment from the state of California. It is in good condition with scuffs and marks showing normal usage. Please check all of the photos. The first photos with the meter connected. Are with the variac in the 0- 120 volt position. If you look at the switch in the first photo with you meter, you can tell it is in the down position, which 0- 120 volts. Then I show a shot of the switch in the up position on 0- 140 volts, and the rest of the shots with the meter are in that range. The variac operated flawlessly during my testing. Don't miss this one.
