Untitled Document This retro 1980s General Electric AM/FM stereo cassette alarm clock radio has a cool triangular wedge-shaped design and-detatchable speakers. The GE model 7-4970A has an analog tuning dial with lighted needle. A blue fluorescent gas digital display with hi-lo dimmer, and mellow orange lighted alarm functions. It has black anodized brushed aluminum panels on the tops of the speakers and main unit that add a bit of class and quality to the radical styling. The stereo sounds very good for its size, and has a three-band graphic equalizer.The clock has two separate alarms for week/weekend settings(or for heavy sleepers! 0-59 sleep setting, and can be set to wake to radio or a low frequency electronic buzz-buzz-buzz. There is also a 9v battery backup for power failures. I tried to get the alarm to wake to cassette, but couldn't. ... moreI don't think it has a wake to cassette function, but no instruction are included, so I'm not positive. The tape player has a recording feature and there is an onboard microphone built in. All functions are tested and working well. The tape deck still sounds very good and has no noticeable wobble or distortion during playback. Alarms and sleep timer all function properly. The unit is used, but still in very good cosmetic condition. There are a few noticeable scuffs and scratches, but nothing that really detracts from the look. For your restoration pleasure. Here is a very cool older GE electric kitchen wall clock, model 2H10. It measures about 7" square, stands about 2.5" out from the wall, including the bubble glass front. Cosmetic condition is good, the original paint is worn and flaky but the chrome is decent and the metal case and glass face are both good. The clock does run but is very noisy, the time adjust knob is tight and does not work. Maybe could be restored to its former glory or it might be time to convert it to quartz. This is a Vintage 1950's Electric United Self Starting Bowling Clock. It is in good working condition and measures 7.5" tall with a 13" x 4" x 1" rectangle base. The Bowler is 6" x 5" and there are three 2" pins. On the back board is an 11" x 1.5" brass alley. The clock face is 4" in diameter. There are a few nicks in thewood finish and some age related tarnish on the brass. Otherwise good condition.

Up for auction is a very nice transister radio made by General Electric generated by 6 D cell batteries. This little portable radio has everything going for it even know the handle is cracked in the middle and also the original volume knob is missing.The rest of this radio makes up for it. The chrome face grill is in very good condition with it's original paint in all the letter's. The speaker grill is clean with no brakes or pitting, it's finish looks as it is a hard chrome finish original. This radio also has a push button indicator lamp that lights up the dial face. The back part of the on& off knob is there and it works the bass, tone and treble. The outer orange plastic cabinet is in very good condition and very clean even the chrome on either side of the handle is very good condition.My uncle services all of my radio's ... moreand this one as well. The outer case was removed to replace the light bulb that lights up the dial face. This radio is very clean inside and the battery compartment looks new. The weight of this little thing blows me away, 8.5lb's!without batteries. This radio works like a charm. I had to invest in the batteries cause I was intrieged by the looks and condition of this thing just to hear if the radio it's self suported a quality sound as it suports a quality look. I like the radio and it is worth my wial giving all the info on it wether it brings a buck or fifteen bucks, all the same it is worth it to me that my customer can get a first hand feel for this radio with out having it in front of him or her plugged in and in use.
