For auction is one vintage. 1960s-era All Steel Equipment metal swivel chair in fantastic original condition. It is painted a silvery gray color and is upholstered in green vinyl. The upholstery is in perfect condition; not a stitch out of place and free rips, nicks or stains. There is one faint scratch on the back of the back pad, which you can see in the photos. The beautiful, curved base features black plastic protector plates on the ends, and the armrests are made of the same black plastic. The metal parts are free of dings and dents, and the paint is in excellent condition overall, though there are small scuffs and scratches common to use. Much less than one would expect on a chair this age, however. The majority of the scratches are confined to the area where the armrests attach to the backrest(see photos) All mechanical features function ... moreproperly. The entire chair has been thoroughly cleaned, polished and detailed, and the casters will be cleaned and re-lubricated prior to shipping. DIMENSIONS: Seat is 18" wide by 19" deep. This is a mid century tanker desk chair made by All Steel. It has a cool propeller base with chrome caps and castors. Dolphin gray faux leather/vinyl upholstery. The upholstery is in good condition with no rips. There is one very small mark on the seat shown in pictures. The metal frame does have scratches and marks typical with age and use. Very heavy solid chair. Adjustable height and tilt back. The seat measures 18" L x 17" W. The arms are 27.5" off the floor in case you would like to clear a desk. The armrest pads are ripped and I took them off. The screw holes are visible from the top of the arms. They will be included if you would like to reupholster them. Another option is to cover the screw holes with metal plugs easily found. I liked it better without the pads. Will be shipped with the base removed.
