This chair is meant for people whom use a computer for the majority of the day. Used to maintain comfort for the user with adjustable arm rests and seat height as well. The back part of the seat is arced to help maintain good posture. The item is still in excellent condition. Upon delivery the chair would be dismantled but can be reassembled with ease. Unclear about the weight of the item but it is quite heavy. The Viewsonic computer monitor is 14 x 15 and is still in working order. Was used with care and still retains good quality. It still has the tag on the back that reads"TOWER Sears and Roebuck co" The chair is in great shape with no rips or tears noted. There is a small amount of paint scraped off on the legs and a small amount of rust. Please look carefully at all 12 pictures as part of the description and to determine the actual condition. As it stands in the picture it measures approximately 31" tall. The seat is 17" x 14" The chair is adjustable and swivels. This is a great find and will really make a statement wherever it is used. Vintage office computer chair. Solid steel and aluminum construction with heavy duty castors, adjustable height and back and back angle, built to last forever. I got his chair used back in the 80's from Kholers trading post. It had a IBM tag on the bottom which is no longer there. Knoll tag is original. Good condition from everything I've seen. Upholstery is original. Mechanically it's fully functional in every way that a brand new chair is. Some minor cosmetic issue, fabric can use some cleaning. See pics for details. Other than this.
