2 COPPER LIGHTNING ROD GROUND WIRE CLAMPS - DIFFERENT STYLES
Listed are 2 copper lightning rod ground clamps. One is the type that pushed into the end of the copper lightning rod- it is 2" long and has a opening about 3/8" for the wore. The other is a bayonette style that is 2 piece- the piece that goes into the end of the rod is 3/4" in diamter and is threaded so the piece that attaches to the ground wire screws into this piece. The clamp portion is missing the closure but wire can be used. Feel free to ask questions. I do have other parts listed from tips to finials to ground wire clamps to bushings as well as more copper end caps. Starrett No.278 V- Block Set & Clamps 1"Dia Capacity Hardened & Ground,
This is a Starrett No.278 V-Block Set with Clamps. 1" Diameter Capacity, Numbered Matched Pair, Hardened and ground, 1-1/4" Square, 1-5/8" in Length. The V's are ground central, parallel and square to the ends and sides. The block has a tapped hole through the side so that it may be attached to an angle plate by a 1/4-20 thread. Used in very good condition, shows light wear, and light staining, no box. One of the Clamp screw knurled head has a grind mark on it, see last picture. EDP No.51312. Made in USA. 20 Foot Heavy Welding Ground Copper Cable with Clamps
I have a 20 foot copper welding cable; ground clamps strong. Copper rubber coating has some burn marks and small cuts but I did not see any copper showing. Rubber coating darkened and cannot see any thickness size info but this is a thick copper line. Still very useable condition. If you feel after the purchase you cannot leave me positive feedback. A set of twelve plus one antique lightning rod cable bracket clamps that came off an early 1900's era Pennsylvania bank barn. The clamps themselves are copper and in good condition with that nice copper oxide patina. The plus one or thirteenth bracket is broken. These were used to mount the ground cable down the side of the barn. I also have available in another listing a set of the original lightning rods from the same barn. MACHINIST V-BLOCKS - LOT OF 6 DIFF. SIZES - HARDENED & GROUND - 2 W/CLAMPS
I spent 30 years as a Special Machine Builder and Machinist. I retired from the tooling trade over 20 years ago so the time has come to pass along my precision tools and tooling to someone who has a use for them. For sale is my 30 year collection of V-Blocks in various sizes. Two were purchased from individuals and the two with the clamps I made in the early 70's. The clamps are not hardened. And the clamping screws are 5/16- 18. My name is on the clamps and the other blocks have an owner name also. One of the clamps is split by the thread and can be welded and re-tapped. It would be like new again. The V-Blocks have minimal staining from age, but no pitting. They have been stoned smooth and are ready for use. Dimension and information is shown for each in the photos. These parts have been retired for over 25 years, let's put them ... moreback to work! NOTE: These items will fit in a small priority box.
