For your RARE pleasure. Is a piano black lacquer 14x14 Yamaha Turbo Tour Custom tom from the 80s. These have zero to do with the new'maple' Tour Customs you see today, which I think are geared toward student/amateur players. This is a drum from the pro-line of Tour Customs. Introduced in 1986-7, and endorsed by players like Dave Weckl(Chick Corea Akoustic Band) and Anton Fig(Tonight Show with David Letterman) They are a blend of the same birch used in the Recording series, and mahogany. Inner plies of mahogany, outer plies of birch. These drums are almost as high quality as the Recording Customs, but do not have the colored lacquer on the inside and out like RCs. They are however, finished on the inside with a honey-amber color and are slightly lacquered. To my ears, Tour Customs are every bit as high-end sounding, but more'live' ... moresounding, and thus more appropriate for live gigs. Mastersweep model M10000 sweeper. It mounts on a forklift very quickly and easily. It is not intended for use on a skid steer but could work on it. I only had it on there to take the pictures of it. It has an electric start 18hp propane powered Kohler engine and it starts and runs great! Hour meter reads just over 70 hours. Has a magnetic mount control box and hydraulic dump. Items consist of a knapsack buckle, two Minie balls, two bullets joined together, and for a centerpiece an excavated union infantry cartridge box sling, Eagle breast plate. Relics were recovered from near Culp's Hill in the 1960's by a digger friend of mine now deceased. These were all excavated with land owners permission. The bottom of the desk set is covered with felt, to protect the surfaces up on which it is placed. Antique Vintage Ritter Dental Floor Mounted Dental Unit
This vintage Ritter floor mounted dental unit is such an amazingpiece of American Industrial history. I love art deco design as well as the jadeite greencolor. As you can see in the photos itdoes need some TLC; but it has been stored in a shed and the metal is inexcellent condition. There are a just fewmissing pieces. Such as the glass tray that would go over the black round wheelthat drill is on in the photo. Mostlikely these parts can be found right here on e-bay. As you can see it is pretty intact but could definitelyuse some old fashioned elbow grease and a good cleaning. I have found some historical information on the Ritter Company andthe evolution of this dental unit as well as an adverting photo of this particularunit. The Tri-Dent Models B and C were floor mounted dental unitsintroduced in the 1920s. The Tri-Dent Model B with its ... moreswinging type cuspidor.Light and engine lathe were all mounted on a single pedestal. The Model CTri-Dent had it's cuspidor mounted on a separate pedestal. The Model E Unit with its patented warm water and warm air coulddeliver both directly to the patient. It was also equipped with a low voltagediagnostic instrument which. Until that time, had been a separate piece ofequipment. The Model E Unit came out in the 1930s and was an updated versionof the Model B. Likewise the Model F Unit was an updated Model C. With thesedental units the dentists had within his reach all the essentials: air, gas,water and electricity. The air and water appliances were under finger-tipcontrol. The electrically operated instruments were shut off automatically whenthey were returned to their respective holders. The mounted tom has tow damaged lugs. Please view all pics. Both have original Calf skin heads with no holes or cracks. Both are missing bottom rims/ heads and parts. All extra hardware shown goes with this auction. Both drums have signatures of Slingerland employees inside on the wooden rims.There are some really nice hard to find vintage parts included.and some for a bass drum.
