My 2nd light stand. A different brand air-cushioned one, just broke and so I decided to replace it with a second Avenger A635B. I film weddings and sometimes have to quickly move my equipment, so air-cushioned would not work for me. I attach flood lights and extend this stand up to over 12 feet and it does a great job covering the wedding dance floor. I use sand bags as an extra precaution. The stand is tall and strong and reasonably priced. I highly recommend it.

American DJ lts-1 Light Stand 12 feet extension Tripod T bar Stand
Like new condition! This stand works great. American DJ says it will hold 100 lbs. I had 80 lbs on it from 5 fixtures. It is very sturdy as this is an older generation which has bigger knobs and as you can see in the picture has 4 bracing arms instead of just 2 like the newer ones. I added a little strength to the lower set of arms that slide into the main clamps, if you look in the pictures you will see I used a metal& plastic rated epoxy. Using this prevents the tubing from sliding out from movement, say if you had a moving fixture attached to it. I never had an issue with them sliding out I just wanted to be sure since these stands were left up for some time. This also means there is very little wear as it was not taken down and setup hundreds of times. All the pins, knobs, bushings are all in good working condition. All the pieces ... moreneeded to make this truss extend, and lock in place are present, and the bolts that go through the tubing to attach fixtures are included as well there are 8. It goes to 12' no problem. The base is adjustable so you can get the sturdy feeling you want. There are very few scratches which are not easily seen when not up close however there are pictures, what you see is what you get. The pieces that were glued do not prevent you from taking the lower arms of, it simply keeps the tube attached to the compression clamp used to attach it to the main tubing that extends. The top T-bar is a solid piece and the two lower ones are independent but I wanted all 4 mounting arms to have the same strength! You will not be disappointed I had 2,000 dollars of lights hanging off the stand, so it is tried and tested and will not let you down.
