They have been welded/repaired. It is not a pretty weld. But it seems to have done the job at the time. I have no way of knowing what they would stand up to now. Vintage Log Cabin Syrup tin can Home Sweet Home cartoon
This old Log Cabin Syrup tin stands about 3 3/4" tall and originally held 12 ozs. of syrup. It's empty now. Great graphics of a mom flipping pancakes and a kid at the door saying: Yum! Those griddle cakes sure taste GREAT! You can see a sign in the door.Home Sweet Home" The tin shows some wear. There's a dent where it looks like the spout has been pushed in a little. A scrape on the bottom, a couple of tiny dents on the back and some light overall wear. I've taken lots of photos which depict the condition accurately.
