An amazing abstract resin sculpture. Created a couple years ago by me. The artist. A six inch square that is 1 7/8 inches wide. I think it weighs a couple pounds. I am going to find my shipping scale any day now.LOL A substantial piece in professional grade countertop epoxy ultra-clear resin. Basically brand new. But I sell all my work as slightly used because hand-cast resin has natural imperfections. This piece is abstract. Meaning there are multiple layers that you look down through and into the bottom of the piece, where there are rocks. The embeds nearer to the top are shells and a crab claw. Its just serene and calming, a very ZEN and feng shui friendly piece of art. Also glossy, as the resin I used is high-gloss. A smooth piece, nothing sticking out of the resin. Bottom most layer is shell sand. This piece is very NEAT and organized ... moreand three dimensional when viewed from the top. And is a bit messy and cool when viewed from the unfinished yet very clear sides. Resin is a crystalline structure and throws the light around in amazing ways. One of my favorite personal pieces. I hope you enjoy it also. Unfinished but CLEAR(not frosted) sides and hand-sanded top edge. You can see the casting layers. The top is very clear. No major scratches or quality issues. A very nice piece of new age art. Contains all the energy of the Pacific ocean. Embedment is oceanic and beach like in theme. A real crab claw, snail and limpet shells and ocean rocks. All are no-kill beach collections. All are trapped under successive layers of resin. This piece does contain bubbles and imperfections that can only be seen from the SIDE. When viewed from the top this piece is very organized. I almost painted the sides but ended up leaving it because everybody else liked it so well that I grew also over time to enjoy the irony of the organization and disorganization uniting into a great finished piece.
