Pencil clip is shiny chrome( please look at Image# 2.the shiny chrome) except the round ad which is similiar to celluloid or plastic. And measures 7/8" in diameter. The length from top to bottom is about 1 3/4" On edge of celluloid/plastic is printed" 1942 REDDY KILOWATT" It's in near mint condition, and I believe this clip was probably made in about the 1990's, as an indentical reissue of the 1942 original. It doesn't appear to have been used. Exact age of pencil clip is not known. This is stamped- 4kv Neutral Riser. It is stamped as being made/installed in 1923- See Photos. I was also told that this“was a ONE conductor Pothead…but I’m certainly NO expert in this field and you need to verify this information yourself with other sources and NOT rely upon mine. Lots and lots of close-up photos for you to review and evaluate. The small metal I.D. plate is appro ximately 2-1/8" x 1 wide. The u nit is approximately 14.5 inches long- stem to stern. It is heavy. Vintage GAUGE Gage in METAL HOUSING Amperes Mo 476 WESTON ELECTRICAL INSTRUMENTS
Up for bid is the vintage AMPERES A.C. GAUGE Model 476. No. 99310 by WESTON ELECTRICAL INSTRUMENT CORP. of Newark, N.J. c.1950-60's(best guess) as seen in the pictures/ as described in the title. I know little about it but it appears to be a higher-end piece of vintage equipment. The approx. 2-1/2" diameter x 1-5/8" deep gauge is mounted in a steel sheet metal housing with brass& plastic knobs at top. Glass is real, NOT plexi. The dial face looks to be a brushed metal material and the original graphics/text is perfectly preserved(completely visible, legible and with great contrast) NO scratches or cracks to glass. The vast majority of this piece wears its original enamal/japanning. Most of the exposed steel is at the dial surround(see 3rd pic for close-up) The wires connecting the gauge to the knobs are both present and ... morevery good. Appears to be in excellent vintage condition with NO major defects whatsoever. I think it VERY likely that it is fully functional. AUTHENTIC CARRIAGE LAMP LIGHT-ORIGINAL MADE OF BRASS HAS WINDOWS-IS ELECTRICAL N
This antique& very old& certainly original carriage lamp light from an actual carriage that held a real fuel in it. This one was converted into an electric light. Great piece for a ranch house. Or barn house. It also has a red piece of red glass or maybe it's a gem of some kind as they used in the old watches, I'm not sure. On the back side of it where it opens, I'm doing further research on it& will post the more I find out about it. As you can see, it has one side window and one in front. This may have been a left lamp light for the carriage. The lamp itself is all brass& measures 20" long& is about 7& 1/2" wide& has a girth of about 6" The round piece of clear glass in the middle is 4& 3/4" in diameter. This part looks to be in good used condition. Came from an old Kohler Light Plant Genterator. The tag reads model 1A21 U No. 119765 KVA 1.5 Voilts 115 phase 1 cycles 60 rpm 1200 bat. volts 24 I do not know the year of this. But I understand these were made from 1926-1948 but I am not sure all parts are the same for all years. Never had this running, but it had been storred inside and seemed to be in overall pretty good shape. Be sure it is what you need before purchasing.
