This great piece measures approx. 14" deep. 11 3/4" wide, 2" tall. This tray is heavy, it weighs 7 lbs, 3 oz. It is perfectly straight in the back& slightly rounded in the front. There are indentations running down both sides that are most likely meant to be"glides" for sliding the tray in& out. The inside is"ribbed" to allow maximum airflow around the food. Vintage Green Glass Covered Wine Chiller - Unknown Maker
This is a vintage wine chiller. It is green glass with a very detailed covering. It does feel like leather but I am not sure it is. The cork that goes in the side is where the glass shute goes down in for your ice. The cork does not fit real tight maybe to prevent air lock. It has a corked top where you put the wine in. The covering as you can see in the picture has a mark where it looks like a tag was once on it. The other side has a mark with a small hole in covering. It is a pretty decorative little piece. The bottom is a soft material. No markings to say who made it. I think it smells like leather and if it is you should be able to use some kind of leather cleaner and may clean up the spot where it looks like it had a tag. Diamond Etched Glass Silver Plated Top Claret Jug Decanter w/ Ice Chiller Insert
Beautiful vintage Claret Jug Decanter with a Diamond Cut Pattern. Elegant Silver Plated Twist Top and Handle. Ice Chiller Insert with top Included. Sunburst Pattern at bottom. Measures 14 1/4" Tall. Including the Finial and 5 3/4" across the bottom. Deep diamond cut pattern really catches the light. Glass is brilliant. No yellowing or dull at all. Interior is nice and clean with no stains or damage at all. The Silver Plated Cap top has a hinged lid that's slightly domed and the finial is acorn shaped.Around the finial are tiny beads in a chased pattern. he spout has a pretty leaf design on the bottom. The arched handle has a scroll pattern and is attached to the side of lid but is away from glass. This is a twist on/off top. The lower section of lid has a 3/4" ribbed band design. The ice chiller insert tube is made of plastic ... moreand does have the top. This ice chiller keeps beverage cold without diluting it. My Mom never put this in freezer. She filled it with ice and served home made Sangria to her friends when they'd get together and"work" on crafts in the evenings. Nice jug to serve Mimosas. Sangria or Wine. The glass is thick and shines shines shines. Displays beautifully. Hinge is in great working condition.No damage on silver plating at all. The easiest way to put together is to attach the cap on body. Left the lid and insert the inner cylinder. The top has a lip on bottom that supports the insert and keeps it from slipping into jug. When done with it, remove the cylinder, wash it in soap and water and put it back into the jug after it's been washed and dried so you won't misplace it. I've got 4 jugs and this the only complete one. Keep thumb on lid when serving beverage. I'm just remembering my Mom's instructions! Not marked. It is heavy. I do not know how old it is. WELCOME TO MY SITE* Up for auction is this truly cool. Smoke glass decanter with ice bucket, chiller set with gold trim and ground end, solid glass stopper. I searched the internet and could not find another like this so it could be one of a kind. I acquired this piece at an estate sale and have had it on display in my dining room, for a few years now, but I just don't have the space for it anymore and therefore am auctioning this great piece to the highest bidder. The ice bucket with decanter inside is 9 1/2 inches high. The bucket itself is 4 3/4 inches high and 5 3/4 inches in diameter. Tapering to 4 1/4 inches in diameter. The decanter is 7 inches high and 5 inches in diameter at its widest point. The decanter holds 1 quart of liquid. It weighs almost three pounds. The gold trim is in very good condition. There are tiny surface scratches ... morebut none to the glass. There are no cracks or chips. There are some tiny flea bites one the inside rim of the decanter and one tiny flea bite on the outside of the rim. The stopper has two tiny flea bites. This 1970's vintage wine decanter is from Italy has been traced to the 1970's but is possibly older. The glass is a subtle green color and is hand blown with an unusual design which holds ice. Description Nice and heavy glass pitcher with silver plated top. Handle, and lid, with ice insert. Pitcher is heavy(4 pounds and 5 ounces) and nice. There are no repairs. The silver lid fit perfectly and there are no damages to the hinge. The top. The handle, and lid of the pitcher are silver plated and the body of the pitcher is made of ribbed glass. There are no damages to the glass( no chips. No cracks. No cloudiness. No scratches) The chiller is made of hard plastic. The lid screws on the chiller perfectly and has 2 notches that allow it to fit nicely in place inside the pitcher. There is 1 chip on the border/rim of the chiller's lid. I mentioned it to make my description complete. But it is out of sight and does not prevent the lid of the chiller from fitting perfectly in place. There is a very small spot of plate loss on the lid(seen ... moreon the 7th photo) and really tiny"balls" not bubbles) scattered also on the lid. They look like a faint silver mist. They are barely visible. These are so tiny that I was not able to capture them in my photos. There is also some tarnish inside the top that can be removed if desired with light polishing; the tarnish can be seen only if the top is open(10th photo) The pitcher is clean and ready to use; the plated top. Vintage 1970's Green Glass Wine Chiller/Decanter w/Ice Chiller
Up for sale is a very nice wine chiller/decanter with ice chiller in side. It is made of green glass and has an applied handle which is pretty rare. It has 2 stoppers connected by a gold colored chain which are original. this was made in the late 70's and is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The measurements are 13" tall with stopper and 7" wide between spout and handle. When I ship fragile items I build a wooden box then put that inside a box with packing and is insured. This vintage wine bottle was hand-blown and I believe it was made in Italy. It is clear green glass and stands about 11" tall. It has an ice pocket to keep the wine chilled. Vintage light blue glass refrigerator tray. Measures 13 5/8" at its widest point) x 12 1/2" x 2 3/8" Appears to be in good condition except for a couple of small chips on the outside ribs as seen in picture 5. The glass also contains a few tiny air bubbles throughout. The front of the tray is slightly bowed out. While the back of the tray is straight. Shipping weight is estimated to be between 7-8 pounds.
