Vintage Antique Crock Porcelain Beverage Liquid Water Ice Tea Dispenser WORKS
I do NOT know the age of this piece. I took the metal handle off of the crock. Oiled it and replaced the rubber caskets and this crock WORKS AND DOES NOT LEAK! This off-white creamy crock is 12" H. The widest part of the crock is 8 1/2" in diameter. The lid measures 6 1/4" in diameter. The opening is 5 1/8" in diameter. The base is 7 1/2" in diameter. The crock has 2 brown stripes that measure 1/16" wide. The crock weighs 7 1/2 pounds. That is why the shipping cost is what it is. There are no cracks or chips on this piece. There is a weird dimple on the lid- not a chip though. The surface of this piece has a nice glaze and every so often. You can see little pits on the surface. Neat very old advertising glass globe iced tea beverage holder container with spigot but no lid. Great Polar bear graphics proclaiming'Drink Iced Tea' Large in size and heavy! approximate measurements: 33.5" circumference. 10.5" diameter, 6.5" opening on top, 9" tall, almost 5lbs in weight. I think it would hold at least a gallon of beverage. The spigot is an ivory bakelight? early plastic material. Great shape for such and old piece: Glass is clear and has some bubbles thru-out. no cracks in the globe, some internal scratches throughout, a smear of white paint near the top.

Antique General Store Counter Tole Tin Litho Tea Bin Dispenser Bin Girl & Kitten
Here is a great estate sale find! It's an old tin tea bin or dispenser that would have sat on a counter in a General Store way back when! Probably from the late 1800s or around the turn of the century. I don't know much about these type of items. It has its problems as mentioned in the"Condition description" above but still has fabulous stenciled graphics including a cute young girl watching her kitten drink milk. So charming! The top hinged lid contains a revolving cylinder which has different types of teas stenciled on it. The one currently shown is"Gun Powder" There is also Japan. E. Breakfast(English Breakfast) Succhong, and another which is pretty scratched out so I can't read it. I left the window open to"Gun Powder" because the cylinder is dented and doesn't roll smoothly around. I don't ... morewant to scratch the graphics and more than they are. You can see the lid has a broken hinge and is dented so it doesn't sit squarely on the bin. The small door at the bottom is missing its knob and also has a dent. You can see all the scratches and wear from the photos but the graphics are still very good! I haven't seen another with a girl and kitten. It is missing its lid. The lid opening is 6" diameter. So that is the size of lid you will need to find for it. There is some light chips in the brown glaze at the spout(see photo) and some tiny tiny flea bite size ones around the top rim(see photos) Other than that all I can find to report is normal light wear such as a few light surface scratches. This guy is BIG BIG. I placed the loaf of bread to give you an idea of its size. It measures 16" across the top of the entire piece. It stands 10" high. It is chocolate brown glaze over a crockery body. Very heavy(about 11 lbs. before packing) There are no cracks or breaks in the crockery body. Only the ... moresmall chips in the glaze surface as I reported above. The spigot works just fine. I filled it and then tested the performance of the spigot and it went very well. Offered for you consideration is this Rare& unusual General Store Country Display cabinet. This is a very old retail sales counter dispenser tin for various typeds of Tea blends such as Gunpowder. Imperial, Hyson, Japan and Oolong. Usually one would see a tin display like this in individual containers. This piece has 5 partisioned bins that held the Tea inventory all on one area of the counter for tea buyers. Hand Painted& screened decorations on the front are of various portraits and animals. Also on each side there is a company name& type of"Caddy name" of the maker. So far we have made out the one side to say F. Sturges, Chicago. The other side we can just read the word"Caddy" Each of the 5 dispenser doors has the tea name and a porcelain knob. Dimensions are 36 1/2" Wide x 26 1/2" Deep by 19" ... moretall. This tin is complete with very clean particians on the inside where the tea was stored in leaf form. The outside paint is worn and there are dents and scratches all around. But the tin still displays very nicely on a counter. And needs a restorers touch to enhance the beauty that is still there on this Victorian Treasure. Overall it is very clean and remarkably rust free. It has numerous age appropriate cosmetic flaws including small dents, paint flakes and scratches. Used Bunn Tea Dispenser Model TD4 is a used item. But in fairly good condition. It measures 9 1/2" x 13 3/4" x 22" weighs 20 lbs. These dispensers run around $150 new. This is a TD4 TALL model. As you can see in the pic's, the top of the storage container has a few nicks around the top of the unit, but it is not brittle, discolored and in acceptable condition to use in a commercial application.
