Up at auction after being wrapped and stored for 40 years is a Vintage Dixie Paper Cup Dispenser. This piece is all original and complete. I have washed the glass tube which is over 15 inches long and has 12 sides. But will leave the chrome for the winning bidder. Please look at the pictures to confirm that the condition is excellent. There are a couple spots where pinpoint corrosion is beginning to show. I saw it on the back and have included two photographs, with and without flash. These spots are age appropriate. The base has its wall mount bracket, and the lever and mechanism that drops the cups works perfectly. It actually looks new. You can see the Patent number which tells us the date was 1918. Gray metal steel tube with lid, measuring approximately 13" tall x 2-3/4" diameter x 2-1/4" square at the base. I do not have the wall mount bracket. I believe this item is from the 1940's. The lid has a small dent in it as can be seen in the photos. There are also a few pin point spots of white paint, which could probably be easily removed, however, I did not attempt to do so. 1930's GREAT 5 CENT CEBCO HOT NUT VENDING MACHINE W/ AJAX CUP DISPENSER
1930's CEBCO Hot Nut 5 cent vending machine. I bought this 10-12 years ago and was told it was never used on a vending route. It appears to be new old stock. The previous owner had some nuts in it for show at the time. It is as close to mint as you will ever find in this model. It is an aluminum vendor. Height is 24" It has not been polished or cleaned up. It is in original condition. Glass is very nice. Decal has some tiny cracks but is very nice overall. I plugged it in for the first time since purchasing and the light works correctly but after an hour the heaters are not heating up. The heaters are no longer working. I have never wanted to leave these hot nut vendors plugged in because of the risk for fire or electrical shock. It has a Ajax chrome plated cup dispenser attached with some new old stock cups included. The cup dispenser ... morehas some minor rust spots starting to show up but still a great new old stock dispenser. Old top lock with key is included. It is not a new old stock lock.
