Don't find one of these boxes often. Printed on the front of the box. It says, Klein's Nic-L-Nut, Milk Chocolate and Peanuts, Mfnufactured by Klein Chocolate Company, Inc. Elizabethtown, PA. I do know that since the zip-code was not included on the box, that it predates before 1967. This box per side of box held, 24 Bars. I show you many pictures and there is writting all over the box-supersize the pictures. Through my research, I believe this box to date back to the 1930's, maybe as early as the 20's. I was able to find one like it, that sold at a auction house a few years back for $90 and don't believe it was in as good as shape ... moreas this one is. It is in pretty good condition, taking in consideration it's age and the fact that it is a light cardboard box. It shows some wear at the corners and there are some creases here and there.One corner has a rip on the seam that is about 1 1/4 inch long. Neat old advertising memorbrilla. FYI Klein's Chocolate Co. Up for auction tonight is a vintage 1940's era chalkware back bar display sign. This one is from E& B Brewing Co. of Detroit Michigan MI. The piece is lettered E& B Premium Beer On Tap For Tops In Taste. The piece measures 7" high x 4-3/4" wide. Has some areas of paint flaking scattered but very nice looking overall. This may have been touched up/restored at some point in its life? I am not sure if it was someone did a very good job. You are buying the piece just as I acquired it as found. Rare Hamms Bear Beer On Tap Back Bar Counter Top Styrofoam Display Sign Nice
What we have here is a rare styrofoam hamms bear. This is a hard piece to come by and has two display signs that goes with it. The ON TAP sign a slight warp in the middle. This will not be seen when put onto the display bear, just wanted to note. The texture on the bear is a velvet like coating. Bear has a dent behind the right paw as noted in pic that cannot be seen from the front. The base has some denting and the letter"S" has some crushing as noted in pic.
